carnivourous plants-patience is a virtue
not much more than a novelty gift, and no guarantees on the state of the seeds, which i found that there are not many of in the pack. there are some very basic instructions for germinating the seeds, but they're not at all extensive, it doesn't even say what sort of pitcher plant species it contains, so i would suggest that you do some research on growing these plants as there are some vital things that you need to be aware of and how you can do them. If you do manage to get any growing, i would perhaps avoid growing them in the coir compost supplied, as i was not sure of the mineral/salts contents in it, these plants need to be in acidic, poor nutrient soil-ideally sphagnum peat moss. I've had some luck with a few of the pitcher plant seed, but so far none of the venus fly trap seeds have germinated, though be aware, these plants are extremely slow growing and can take several years to grow to full size, if there's one thing these plants need, it's patience, otherwize buying a grown plant in a pot is a better option.Carnivourous plants need these 4 vital things:1)sunlight-as much as you can give it2)distilled water or rainwater, BUT NOT TAP WATER!3)acidic, poor nutrient soil4)winter dormancyoh and only grow them in plastic or glazed ceramic pots, but never terricotta, as they leech minerals into the soil. And don't be afraid of growing them outside, even here in the UK! they're not tropical plants-they actually can do very well outdoors-you probably just have to give them some protection over winter in a cloche/mini greenhouse, or put them in a porch or garage where it doesn't get too warm for their winter dormancy period.

fly trap seeds
it takes a long time for them to germinate but they are a good price. You must be green fingered to use this product.

Insufficient seeds
On opening the 2 packs of seeds. One of the packets had 1 seed and the other had 2 seeds. It says in the instructions after the seeds have been in a cool place to spread them evenly in the 5 pots they gave me. Very bad value for money

Interesting and definitely fun for kids
Sent this to my brother in law as a gift. He seems happy with it but not had it long enough to get a decent size yet.
