Great workout for the Arms etc.
When you first open the packaging, You will see a Powerball and 2 pieces of red string- cord.. 1, At first, I thought the Powerball was a bit of waste of time. It took me a long time to get to grips with how you get the inner ball to rotate. Once you have the hang of it though, it's really quite easy to use. 2, Place the small length of red cord into a hole and turn the inner ball a few turns, Then pull. It will start to spin slowly. The idea is you then turn your hand and slowly to keep it rotating. It is the inner ball which spins. Then the more you turn your hand the faster it will. And the harder you have to hold it, That is the idea of it. 3, This is the original Powerball and I think the best, The manufacturer's description really doesn't do this product justice, Try the website. very helpful site. 4, First use this Powerball at low speeds it is great for wrist and arms. At the high speeds it gives an Amazing workout and really builds up all the arm and shoulder muscles. That is If you can hold on to the ball, it is quite hard at full speed. I think it would benefit Racket plays etc. 5, The build Quality is Excellent and there is a lifetime guarantee. I could write so much more about this product, If you want a great workout for arms wrist and shoulder, Will leaves your arms etc. burning after a few minutes. You've got to buy one and try for yourself, you will not regret it. This one has lasted me a long, And still works great. You could Try the version with a Timing computer on top of the Powerball so you can see how you're progressing. I would Highly recommended great workout. Well worth the money for a Quality Powerball.

Good for elderly wrists
My son has his own gyroscope, and I find that very hard to handle. This one is ideal for an elderly woman's wrists. Really good.

Great, when I can get it to spin.
This is a good hand/physio aid to strengthen the wrist/arm and hand. As long as you can get it to spin! When I first got it, I could do it. At the moment, I can't. I'll persevere as I'm a patient person, but if you're not so patient, it may be an issue. When I got it working, I could definitely feel the resistance so it can do as the product description says.

A great concept if it works and fun to use as an 80year old.
As I've only had this for a couple of weeks, time will tell how effective it is. It seems well made and sturdy, comfortable in hand and you feel the Gyro as you work against it. It took me a good few attempts before suddenly I was successful, but longer with my other hand. Strange that as my dominant hand took longer to master it. I find it spins in both clockwise and anti direction too which you can change while it is spinning. The trick I find is to rotate smoothly as any jerky movements affect it spinning. I'm not sure if it is successful yet but I can feel the muscles after a few minutes use, they are aware of being used but not in a painful way. At the moment I use it around twice a day for around two minute seach hand. No doubt I will build this up for longer sessions in future. Please ensure you use the wrist loop though. I think if it got loose it could do some damage. I have not tried that but there is quite an energy build up as the Powerball rotates. I bought this to improve my grip and tone up my forearms etc. I am 80 yearsold and find my muscles not as firm as I would like. New update. A couple of weeks in and going well. I can feel a difference both in grip and firmness of forearms. I am up to 5 minutes each arm twice a day and can not only change direction of spin, but swap from one hand to the other and swap the wrist loop as wellwhile itspins. I am pleased with this product and will keep at it. I wonder if the "NO Pain No Gain" is necessary, as apart from a bit of tiredness and a not unpleasant feeling that Ihave used my muscles, there is no pain at all. I am happy about that as I am not a pain lover.

Not as amazing as described
I've had this for a day and I am not very impressed by this product. Firstly it's not all easy to learn how to use it. I wouldn't expect a several-pound product to be manufactured as smooth and balanced as described but it loses momentum a bit too easily especially when it's not spinning fast enough. I spent a few hours on it yet still have trouble getting it going with my non-dominant hand. Secondly it's not that much fun. I don't quite get it why it's 'addictive' or whatsoever. I imagine even with a rpm count, it wouldn't be any sort of 'great fun' just to get it spin crazily fast. If you go check out the videos on youtube about people making it to 18k or even 20k rpm, the guys had to shake their hands as if they were getting an electric shock. I simply don't see any fun there. After all it's just a fairly good toy. Very good concept, very suitable for physics teachers' demonstration regarding gyro force. Surely you'll have a few pound worth of fun and that's about it. Not amazing.

Don't give up!
This thing is great, once you figure it out. If you're having trouble as I did, the company offers support, but I just kept trying till it finally clicked for me what to do. If you jam the thread (which you will at some point), don't pull on it! Instead, look closely at how it's stuck and gently push it in to unloop it from the inner plastic bits. It's tougher than it looks, but it can be frustrating at first. I couldn't get it at all at first, but just kept trying while staying calm, lol. This is not something to struggle with when you're feeling impatient. It's still early days, but here's the benefits hubby and I are experiencing: * both of us are experiencing pain relief when we've gamed too long and strained our hands. (we are avid gamers) * Less than a week in and I'm starting to find it easier to open jar lids, which is very handy. This thing helps your grip strength, and your hand/arm/shoulder function. I work both hands bc the body likes symmetry. Once you have that aha moment, it becomes super easy. I can now start it instantly with either hand. So don't give up if it seems impossible at first! Keep persevering and you'll be glad you did!

It works as expected, no complaints, came with two strings to start it so that's great!

I tore my wrist ligaments and my doctor recommended that product to me so i ordered it. At the beginning i was a little bit confused how it might work, but after a few times of trying i finally figured it out and since then it became a common practice for me. I’d recommend you to buy if if you want to strengthen your arms.
