Plant Magic Plus Soil - 50L Bag

My new garden was over grown with weeds. I was able to clear it of the weeds, then it looked a little bald. So bought this soil. It's beautiful soil, gorgeous. Normally I would leave a review immediately but I have been busy, so I apologise. There again, it's good that I didn't so I can give a proper review. It was back in mid July I bought this, sorry seller oops. It's 12th of October now. I have not had one weed, not one, since I laid this. Truth. Next time I need this, I will be buying this exact soil from this seller. Definitely recommend. Thank you.

I was surprised Plant Magic 'made' soil, but am familiar with their other high quality garden products. So on trust i bought soil. It arrived in good time for pre-spring veg sowing. On inspection, soil felt really luxurious and 'airy' in hand. A good indication of quality, which any gardening fanatic knows is an important foundation for nice, juicy, fat veg. Not all soil are created the same - read about any soil's ratio before buying as it's so important to choose your soil well for what you want to grow :-)..My carrots and cabbage seeds germinated quickly and rapidly grew. Great stuff for replanting my house plants too. The price tag - excellent. Your garden/ house plants are gonna love it!

4.5 starsBought a bag of this early March and have been very happy with the compost. Very fine with no lumps or 'hot spots' to remove when potting. Well airated with Plant Magic's own foam formula. Plants seem to be responding well.My only complaint is now that I've come back to order a second bag the price has jumped from £17.99 (already expensive for compost) to a whopping £38!! I can only imagine this is due to a shortage of supply but it's a crazy price for what is basically just fine peat compost. The Sinclair peat compost I am also using produces very similar results and is way, way cheaper.Will come back for more when back to normal price! Might have been 5 star otherwise.

My husband recommended this soil to me, from his younger years of growing a specific plant that he sold….. or smoked. I believe this soil is intended for such plants. Any who, he told me his plants were impressive so I thought I’d try it for my houseplants, and oh my goodness this soil is just lovely! It’s so rich, dark in colour, light and airy to touch and my plants seem to loooove it, we have also used it in our garden for our daughters flowers and they’re thriving. I have gone through 3 bags now and none have come with pests, nor do pests seem to be attracted to it in the bag. The foam in the soil is very spongey and springs back after being squished, there’s not much of them and I enjoy making my own potting mix so I do add pumice, activated charcoal, worm castings, coco coir, and orchid bark to my mix and this soil is great to add to if you also enjoy that kind of thing. The soil doesn’t become compacted or clumped together which I really like, and I think it really does help promote growth, I have repotted some barely alive plants and there’s an overnight reaction. The only downfall is that whilst at the beginning of spring the big bags were great, I do wish it came in smaller bags as I won’t be needing all that soil after growing season.

This compost is a clean , structured and looks like compost should. Forget any other compost mix as this is worth the extra cost.

I find this product good value for money compared to other soils I have tried and is very good for it's primary purpose. It doesn't compact too much and always results in good quality plants of any type. Holds enough nutrients for the first couple of weeks and when used with other plant magic products gives a very consistent grow.
