Excellent informative book
This book is excellent and what more can i say, it’s Dr Li. He explains things in a way for you to understand. He goes into the scientific side to help you understand the benefits of each food. It certainly makes you think differently about the foods you eats and the benefits you get from them. I would thoroughly recommend this book along with his other one eat to beat disease. Great value for money, thought provoking and certainly beneficial.

Full of insight and well researched studies. It help me make positive changes to my diet. I highly recommend it!

Really helpful advice
Really like this new book from Dr Li. So interesting reading what all the different foods he suggests can do for our bodies. No excuses now really. This book gives you all the info you need to get healthy and sort out your metabolism. Just one problem though - the food journal is apparently downloadable from his website address given in the book (pg297) but I can’t seem to download it and you do kind of need it to follow the diet. Hence the star knocked off

QR codes inside the book don’t work
This book is informative and easy to read. However, none of the QR codes or web links to the author’s website work. It is very disappointing. You shouldn’t offer additional resources if they are not there.

Foods to focus on
I’ve been incorporating whole foods since a dietary change in 2016 which reversed my diabetes. Thankfully I’ve remained free from it but what I didn’t ever learn or understand was the reason for certain foods. How they helped or hindered me in reducing fat, weigh etc. hitting weight loss plateau’s is debilitating. I was absolutely delighted to be recommended to this and the Eat to Beat Disease books as I now know and understand what to include and why. Thank you so much. I’m 8 days in and because I already do IF, I’ve combined stage 1 and 2 together.

Excellent book from Dr William Li
Excellent book for everybody who wants to eat healthy, improve their body metabolism and overall health in the most natural, easy and delicious way using the latest science research. The book is easy to read and understand, a nice addition to any family library together with Dr Li's first book - "Eat to beat disease".
