I ordered this 6 months ago for my kitten. I'm really pleased with it. The carpeted outside is regularly used as a scratching post by him. I'd rather he scratches this than the carpets. Despite regular scratching of the carpet finish, it has not become especially fuzzy or detached from the tower. So it is well made. It has 3 openings, the bottom and middle can be accessed from each other. The top den is a separate compartment. He likes sleeping (see photo) and playing in all three dens and uses the barrel to grip on and hug, moving from one den to another. He likes the top. This is cushioned and gives a nice bit of height to look down upon. The only slight niggle, is that all three dens have a toy hanging on a piece of elastic. My kitten has played with these, pulling and biting at them. Two of them have been reattached so many times (by knotting them back in) that they no longer dangle. We've had other toys where these dangly toys detach. It's a small niggle. I'm very happy with this!

Not really value for money as you can get the XL one for this price on Zooplus and this size for around 30 quid. I did actually think I was getting the bigger one, being guided by the price - but that is my fault, I didn't read the description well enough.It's not big enough for my Bengal cat anyway, he pulls it across the floor and doesn't bother with the holes, probably because he knows he would get stuck!Anyway, the delivery was fast.

Great quality item. What's great is you can turn it so the bottom hole is up against furniture and the cat can still get to the bottom part via the middle hole - ideal when your cat wants to hide from the Hoover or visitors. It's really solid and quite heavy. My cat likes to run up the tower from bottom to top and she tries to chew the sides. She also sleeps on top which is very plush. It looks unobtrusive too and you hardly notice it as its sofa height.

My cat is loving her new barrel already. It’s very sturdy and inside isn’t as small as I thought it might be, there’s also a ball on elastic on each level for them to play with. For the size of it the price is really good and delivery was pretty fast.

My cat didn't immediately take to it so I bribed him by hosing the product down with catnip.He'll occasionally play with it but its mostly a fixture nowadays :|

Holes are quite small and it's expensive but cat quite likes it and seems well made

A nice sturdy barrel . I really wanted the larger barrel , but the price was too high to replace a previous bigger one , which the cats love .However , this is popular with my smaller cat , and they both enjoy the playthings .
