Has Made Life So Much Easier!!!
One of our cats recently developed heart problems and had to take medicine daily. He's the most nervous and easily frightened cat of the dozen or so we've had so grabbing him to squirt medicine in his mouth was incredibly difficult. And I'm sure he was terrified every time we did it. But we learned from our vet of a service called MixLabs that mix the medicine into an edible "treat". He hates taking medicine and even in treat form, he refuses to take it. We found this product and figured it was worth a shot and it has worked perfectly. We wrap the pill/treat in some of this stuff and he eats it right up. It has made ours and his life so much easier. It's basically like bacon flavored Play-Doh. You just pull out a little bit and wrap the pill or whatever in it. Make sure that the pill stays within the wrap and doesn't touch any of the exterior. Your pet will smell the meds if it touches the outside of the wrap. One trick we do is to stick a crunchy treat on the side. The pill wrap is kind of slick and it sometimes is difficult for my cat to pick up and keep in his mouth while chewing. The dry treat gives his tongue something to grip while he licks it up and chews it. And it masks the smell of the medicine even more. This stuff is kind of expensive but it's worth every penny to us. Before the pill wrap, our cat was always nervous around us and scared that we'd pick him up and squirt horrible medicine in his mouth. But now he just happily takes his medicine and isn't worried around us.

Cat Approved! She loves it!
I have to give my cat a pill daily and was using pill pockets from another brand but my cat started to reject them after biting through to the pill a few times. I needed something that could completely conceal the pill so I decided to try this just to switch it up. Best thing I’ve done and wish I had done it sooner! The texture is semi-firm so it conceals the pill well and you can build layers. My cat takes her daily pill so easily and quickly now, no fuss! And she absolutely loves the flavor. If I don’t give her the med on time, she will remind me to give her some Vetoquinol. She goes crazy when I open the jar. Oh and there’s NO CHICKEN for the babies with GI/allergy issues! Other details: seal was intact; product is quite oily; good size and amount of product; absolutely worth the money.

The BEST option for cats
If you are struggling to pill your cat, please save yourself the headache and get this. We have a senior cat that needs a daily medication, no options to administer the pill worked. No success after weeks of stressful attempts with manually pilling, syringes, other pill pockets. This product absolutely saved us, he takes the pill no second guessing and no stress. There is a good amount of product in the container as well, we have gone through amount half of it in two months. Well worth the buy as far as the product functionality, amount of product, and stress saved for you and your pet.

This got my cat to take her medicine without stressing
I could not be happier with this pill wrap. I originally didn't try it since my girl doesn't like pill pockets but it's definitely worth trying. The strong bacon scent really helps. This jar will last a good while as well with the amount I tend to use covering her pills daily. --more info and a tip for dosing cats that dislike soft textures: My cat has anxiety, FHS, and other issues. One of the medications she takes is fluoxetine which is not at all palatable to her. We've tried so many different ways to get her to take it, but either she'd just entirely avoid it if mixed in something or she'd get even more stressed out by it being pushed on her using a pill shooter or gelatin capsule. This is the first thing we've tried that actually completely worked without any stress for her or wasted meds. She seems to like the taste of it and is drawn in by the bacon scent. She doesn't like the texture much since it's chewy and she's a crunchy treat girl. At first we stuck it to the back of one of her favorite crunchy treats and while that did work out somewhat, she would pick it up and drop it a few times before eating it because the soft texture threw her off. To avoid that, I started splitting the crunchy treat as evenly as possible, putting the pill on the inside, and pressing the other piece of treat back on. It works because the wrap is kind of sticky. It kind of looks like an ice cream sandwich at that point. Then I use broken crunchy treat bits to fill in the edges and sides as much as possible to cover that sticky, soft texture for her. It ends up looking like an irregular, slightly thicker and uneven treat at the end. She actually tends to choose that one first because the bacon scent entices her and she now happily takes her much needed medication without any additional stress. We've given other pills to her using this method and she's eaten all of them without any problems.

Didn’t work for my purpose but product is fine.
Update: I still have to open the cats mouth and put pill in, but the cat doesn’t spit out the wrapped pill, he will swallow it more readily when wrapped so increasing my review to 4stars. I ordered this to cover a bitter pill I have to give to my cat. It’s easy to use but the cat still refused to eat it voluntarily. My quest to pill my cat more easily continues.

A must have for cats with cancer and daily pill needs
So far this is the ONLY thing that has worked for pilling my cat. I tried hiding in treats, food, greenies pill pockets etc and nothing worked. He gets so stressed out when I pill him without anything, and now that's he's unfortunately on a cancer journey :( I knew that he's going to be getting a ton more daily pills. It was important for me to find something that makes the experience less stressful for us both. For some reason this paste works so that even if they chew a little bit, which is common with cats (unlike dogs who will scarf stuff down without biting), it still stays on and masks what's hidden inside. I saw this recommended on a feline cancer support group and I had low expectations it would work. But it's been 3 days of successful pilling with this paste. I find it helpful to do it before dinner when he's already hungry too.

Dog loves it
My bulldog loves it! When he hears me open his pill bottle, he now runs over and drools until I get the pills covered and give them to him. He cannot have chicken, which a lot of the pill pocket styles all had. I use the back end of a plastic fork to scrape out a little piece. The consistency is pretty much like play dough. It doesn’t take much to cover a pill completely. My dog doesn’t need it covered thickly to take it. I flatten out a little piece, place the pill on it, fold over the edges, then use my fingertips to mash it around the pill. The jar is big enough to last for 100s of pills if you cover them thinly. The price is well worth it for me, much easier than trying to shove it down his throat.

Worked on the first try with my picky cat!
I rarely write product reviews, but this worked so well I had to share. My cat is usually very suspicious of pills, and I was honestly shocked that this worked on the first try. Here’s exactly what I did: I took a treat my cat already loves and cut it in half. I took one half of the treat and the whole pill together and wrapped them in the pill wrap paste to form one treat. Then I wrapped the other half of the treat with a little bit of paste too, just in case she ate that one first and thought, “oh this is good,” and then would go for the pill one second. I also gave her two regular treats with no paste. She ate all of them, including the one with the pill inside, no hesitation at all. I was so excited because giving her medication is usually stressful. This made it easy and completely stress-free. I really hope this helps other cat parents!
