A&D Medical Blood Pressure Monitor BIHS Approved UK Blood Pressure Machine UA-651

My wife was loaned an A&D blood pressure monitor by the NHS last week, and that's why I selected this one. There are so many brands to choose from but this is the only one I know of that is approved by the World Health Organisation and trusted by the NHS. With more than one person with heart issues in my household, accurate readings are important and first impressions are that it's working perfectly. All four of us used the NHS loaned monitor last week and the readings from this new (UA-651) device are consistent with the readings from that device. What's more, I was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation (AF) years ago and I can confirm that this device reliably detects the condition. I took my blood pressure five times and the AF indicator lit up next to the BP results every time. When my wife and two sons took their readings, the AF indicator did not light up... which is accurate because they do not have Atrial Fibrillation! I'm really very impressed that such an inexpensive blood pressure monitor can detect such a condition. As for the sleeve - even though it's the same brand and size as the one loaned by the NHS last week - it seems of much better quality. It's thicker, the velcro seems of better quality, and it doesn't crease or pinch. As for the fit, one of my sons is 6'2", me and my other son are 5'8", my wife is 4'11", we are all around average weight, and the sleeve fits us all. Using the device couldn't be easier. Attach the strap and press a button. That's it! It also comes with a little carrying bag and monitor, sleeve and instructions all fit inside perfectly. Did I already mention how impressed I am with this thing? Because I really am. :)

This is perfect for my daily readings, easy to use and well made

great product thats also accurate with its blood pressure readings, its fairly compact and portable with an option to run from AA batteries or by a mains plug (doesnt come with standard purchase). its pretty easy to use with a big button, and you can easily access previous readings by holding down the button. I would definitely recommend this, always buy proper branded and machines recommended by the heart foundation, the cheap clones arent reliable this this machine. I'd probably give it a 5 star if the batteries lasted longer, but i accept that its basically working a motor to pump up, so just buy better quality batteries if you dont use a mains adaptor

Good easy to use

Very accurate. Bought this to monitor my blood pressure as was having anxiety and was worried about my blood pressure being high, when I first tried it on (straight out of the box) the black bar pinched my arm really bad as the machine went too tight but this was not the machines fault it was mine as I hadn't read the instructions or put it on correctly so please be aware the reviews of people saying it hurt them pinched skin etc are all due to them not fitting it on correctly this should not happen.. now the strap/black bar is corrected it's just a case of put it on and press the button.. as you can see from the video it works so easily would highly recommend, I paid £22.49 which I think is a reasonable price for the piece of mind. Comes with a nice little storage bag aswell. Gave it 5 stars due to it doing exactly what it says I can't fault it

I bought this to do a series of blood pressure tests at home, as my GP requested them. I figured it was easier than going to the pharmacy twice a day. This tester does exactly what it's supposed to and is very easy to use. It's small and compact so is easily stored away between uses.

I searched hard for an easy to read, medical standard blood pressure monitor and I found one. This monitor is perfect for any age, easy to use, easy to read. There is nothing complicated about this machine. The batteries last a long time ( I use it three times daily)

stopped working after 2 months, it will not recharge therefore useless. I have tried to contact the seller twice but still no reply. very disappointed so I can't recommend on my experience. poor customer service

Ho acquistato il Misuratore di Pressione da Braccio Digitale A&D Medical UA-651 per monitorare la mia pressione arteriosa a casa. Devo dire che ne sono rimasta molto soddisfatta: il misuratore è facile da usare e fornisce risultati accurati e affidabili. Mi piace particolarmente la possibilità di memorizzare i risultati dei diversi misurazioni, in modo da avere una panoramica della mia pressione arteriosa nel tempo. Inoltre, il misuratore è leggero e maneggevole, quindi facile da trasportare anche quando si viaggia. Insomma, lo consiglio vivamente a chi cerca un misuratore di pressione arteriosa affidabile e di buona qualità per l'utilizzo a casa.

Wir haben uns für dieses Modell entschieden, nachdem wir ein sehr ähnliches Modell aus der A&D UA-651 Reihe als Leihgerät für eine Studie zuhause hatten. Die Messungen sind sehr schnell und soweit wir nachvollziehen können auch genau. Die Manschette ist leicht anzulegen und angenehm zu tragen. Meine Frau und ich sind sehr zufrieden mit diesem Blutdruckmessgerät, nachdem wir mit anderen kompakten Geräten Probleme hatten.

Lättanvänd och tyst blodtrycksmätare. Enkel att tyda och relativt snabb mätning. Väl värt sitt pris under 400kr.

I have big arms and this machine works so well. Super easy to put on and to use. Bp on par with hospital reading as I tested it against them.

Lo hemos comprado para una persona mayor que tiene que mirar diariamente la tensión. Le dijeron en el centro de salud que si podía comprarse un aparato como este y anotaba los resultados no sería necesario ir allí todos los días. Como no sabemos cuáles pueden ser los más fiables compramos este por las reseñas y el primer día lo llevamos al centro de salud para comprobar que daban los mismos datos que los suyos. Y si, exactos, nos dijeron que muy bien en usar este. Buen precio, fiable, y fácil de usar para una persona mayor.
