so far so good
read mixed reviews about some of the cheaper CD walkmans. This one arrived yesterday. Played some classical Cds on it and sounded good - used with my own headphones. Having used an old Sony walkman before this was just as good: buttons hard to read but it’s all about how the music sounds. No complaints there, perfectly good. So far so good

Was great, shame broken now
Great soundbut the lid no longer works, seems like the spring has gone and this means I have trouble removing cds from the player otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. I use it most nights while listening to my favourite singer (keith Urban) so it has lasted just coming up to a year, shame cos I was happy with it. Looking to replace it now

Can’t beat the price, but…..
The CD player is competitively priced with decent features. The shock protection does the job well and withstood a good shake test. Sound is 7 out of 10 as it could do with a little more bass but stereo separation is pretty good. Only a couple of small niggles:-1. It does feel a little flimsy but, what doesn’t these days?2. Signage on the control buttons is inadequate, they could do with with screen printed characters for easier identification. To sum up, a pretty good item at a good price!

Great cd player great price
I'd previously ordered another portable cd player from Amazon as a Christmas present. I think the brand was oakcastle if I'm not mistaken. Based on the reviews I was expecting an ok cd player. Given that it was something like £35 I paid. However I had to return it as I just couldn't get it to work. There was no problems at all returning it, Amazon were very good. I was sceptical about ordering this brand (another no name I heard if brand) I thought I'd give it a whirl I can only return if its not working. Let me make it clear though I was getting in a right tizzy trying to find a cd player, just a normal portable cd player like you used to get back in the 90s. I was pondering if to go with a Philips one I came across but something was telling me to go for this make instead. When it came we tried it and there were no issues at all, well what I could find anyway. I wanted a simple one as it's for my mentally disabled uncle. He loves music, it's easy for him to work. He's exceptionally happy, which inturn makes me happy.

CHEAP PORTABLE CD PLAYER
Having just bought one of these I find the eject mechanism stiff to operate and volume level even at highest 32 is still very low-hopefully this will improve.Otherwise seems a good item for the money.
