Used it to shield the cables at the back of the oven. Easy product to use, good stiction.

The plastic covering along the 2cm edge of a panel above our gas stove became buckled and distorted due to the heat rising from the main hob 60cm below. I removed the bucklled plastic and replced it with a 2cm wide strip of the heat shield mat, using only the adhesive backing to secure it. It has held since I attached it about 6 months ago and looks as it it will continue to do so for a good while yet. The heat shield is under daily stress from the hob at temperatures well in excess of what can be borne by flesh! Very pleased with the performance.

I purchased this product because I have just had a new kitchen with a walk in larder and this is where I have a number of items such as an air fryer, toaster, grill etc. Whilst very well ventilated and plenty of space, I just wanted a little extra protection for the units above and behind these items. The adhesive in the back is super strong, sticks really well and lasts. The sheets are easy to cut if you need to and you can make almost invisible joints between the sheets, and they also look really good once fitted.

Before having a gas hob installed, I was told I needed a flameproof panel, but the supplier didn't know what I was talking about, and my builder said it wasn't necessary - Mexican standoff.I found this on Google. £46 and everyone is happy. If only they had rolled it instead of folding it, I would have given 5 stars. Unfortunately, the creases show.

so easy to use works perfetly.

Used for under a campervan cabinet which is above a stove. Where it's folded in thr packaging keeps coming unstuck (everyday from the day I put it on. As I've already stuck it down I can't send it back.Wouldn't buy again.

Good material and it works, unfortunately the backing sticker is not strong enough to hold the mat in around corners and over time it is coming off so additional glue had to be applied
