Super quality and flavour.
Lovely taste - nicely roasted to save time home-roasting. Good quality buckwheat. This can be hard to find either roasted or raw in the shops as I don't think it is a very popular item. But I'm glad to find someone who sells this for reasonable prices online. I will buy it again but there is so much in the pack - a replenishment may not be needed for 2 years! So 5 stars for a very good product.

It's not buckwheat. Lost money
Awfully product. The worst product. It looks like gelly in a minute after putting it in water. You even don't need to boil it. Also it doesn't smell like buckwheat. Lost money

Well cleaned and good quality + Tip if it's getting mushy for you
Very nicely cleaned, no scraps (shells etc).Instead of boiling buckwheat as you would rice, soak them! This way it will not get mushy. For 2 people as a side, take about a tea mug worth of buckwheat, wash it and put in a microwave friendly dish (glass casserole dish with lid or medium sized bowl that can be covered with a plate). Pour the same amount of water (1 mug in this case) of boiling water over it and put the lid/plate on the dish. Leave it for at least an hour, can stay overnight too. Then before you eat it, heat it in the microwave for 5-7 minutes on the highest setting.

Buck wheat
A good item but a little expensive compared to health food shops. But needed urgently and this was free next day delivery by 1pm with Prime.

Don’t buy
Absolutely awful. The grains disintegrated while being cooked . Ended up with some awful mush. I reckon they were over roasted. And if someone tells me that that’s what it should look like or I don’t know how to cook it, not the case. It’s one of my favourite grains and I cooked it many times before, never with such results...

Would not buy it again
I eating buckwheat for more than 30 years and first time i received so strange buckwheat. When I boil it usually its came in beautiful porridge when each grain lay separate (like a rice). This buckwheat from beginning of cooking was strange..its sticks together in gloopy mass and its was more like porridge oats..but more sticky. My child refused to eat it, I tried it and didnt like it either. First time in my life I didnt like my favourite food. Now I feeding my pet with it as its only who didnt refuce it so far. Sad, really sad. Other organic food from this company was good (like rice and oats)..but buckwheat is No no :(

Best roasted buckwheat I’ve been able to find
If you are looking for the Eastern European “kasha” this is the best buckwheat I’ve been able to find outside of Eastern European specialty shops. TIP: do NOT try to book this like rice - it will turn mushy and disgusting. Instead bring water to a boil, add the dry buckwheat, reduce the heat to lowest setting and leave for around 10 mins. Comes out perfect!
