BATTERY TOOK AT LEAST A WEEK LONGER TO ARRIVE THAN SCHEDULED. THE BATTERY HAD A BLUE PANEL ON IT (SHOULD HAVE BEEN GRAY OR SILVER) AND LOOKED LIKE IT CAME OUT OF A DUMPSTER; ALL BEAT UP AND BENT. IT DIDN'T FIT IN THE M6500 DELL LAPTOP VERY WELL, BUT IT WENT IN. IT TOOK OVER AN HOUR TO CHARGE, BUT FINALLY CHARGED AND SEEMED TO WORK OKAY. AFTER A COUPLE OF DAYS, I TRIED POWERING UP THE LAPTOP WITHOUT USING THE POWER SUPPLY AND IT WOULDN'T GO UNLESS I USED THE POWER SUPPLY. I CONTACTED AMAZON ABOUT MY ISSUE AND RECEIVED A NOTE SAYING THEY WOULD CONTACT THE SELLER. 2 DAYS LATER, I GOT AN EMAIL WITH A RETURN LABEL. I ORDERED A GHU BATTERY AND RECEIVED THAT IN 1 DAY. IT WORKS AND LOOKS GREAT AFTER 2 WEEKS. I SENT THE DUMPSTER UNIT BACK OVER A WEEK AGO, BUT IT HASN'T ARRIVED AS OF YET. VERY DISAPPOINTED SINCE I PAID $18 MORE FOR THE DEFECTIVE BATTERY AND COST ME $11 TO SHIP IT BACK. HOPEFULLY AMAZON AND THE SELLER WILL MAKE GOOD ON IT.

This battery does not work in the computer. It takes forever to charge up and it does not turn off the flashing lights on the computer. I thought it might get better but it hasn't and I plan to return it.

Not real glamorous, it's a battery for a laptop. This is in my son's M6500 that doesn't get really hard use. It's been in for a month-ish at this point and it works. It fits as it should and charges. We'll see how the longevity and charge life is but for now, I'm happy with the battery.

I bought this to replace my M6500's old battery and it does the job perfectly! Even has the lights to tell you battery life. How long it will last is unknown, as I have only had it a few weeks.

I had a Dell Precision M6400 that needed this battery as it was a "covet" series. This battery had a 5 day delivery window and showed up within the 1st two days of that window which was perfect. It also worked and fit perfectly and the laptop is working well with it. No complaints and since this was a hard to find battery in the first place, this was awesome.

I'm using it in a m6400. Same form-factor, different year. It fits with a little giggling and works OK when installed. So far no problems.
