Q: how does toileting work? Do I need to remove the vest everytime my cat wants to use the litter tray?

Hello Sarah, when we use in our clinic luckily the answer is no ;-) the cats seem to be able to poo and wee fine with it on. Due to the different sizes and sexes of cats we do have to modify the vest slightly with a pair of scissors on a small number of cats. Dr P Proctor (Veterinarian)

Q: Will the suit inhibit scratching of an ear? I'm having to make booties out of a sock to prevent her making her ear bleed. Will this help?

No this vest would still allow access to her head and ears. It just prevents access to wounds on their main body
