This is a definite solid upgrade to factory stock. Engraved gear selection into solid aluminum knob, gives a great quality feel considering the next to nothing retail price I paid for it. Purchase along with black shift knob retainer for a chess pawn look. Very seamless fit. It is appropriately weighted that allows me for fingertip shifting but not too heavy. Although be mindful it is a ball of aluminum, it gets cold when its cold and hot when its hot. Otherwise fantastic upgrade

Feels great. It’s not slippery/glossy. It’s feels like it was sanded down smooth or like some sort of flat paint.
