A good general wood carving knife
I have retired and I’m on a limited budget, but wanted to have a hobby, so I decided to try woodwork and wood carving. This is the first knife I purchased and I found it of very good quality and value for money. On opening it I found that it didn’t have a great edge and there was a need to sharpen it, but I have found this with all bladed products that I’ve purchased. So before I could use it I had to find out how to sharpen the blade. I already had a stone to sharpen it on and after watching a couple of YouTube videos I was ready to go. I spent about 20 minutes and finally managed to get a good edge to carve with. I now sharpen it every time before I use it, and the time it takes to get a good edge is reducing, which is as it should be. The handle is made of wood and I find it very comfortable to use, even for long periods. I’m pleased with the purchase and look forward to buying another Mora knife, as this knife is good for roughing out, but not very good for detailed work.

Another sharp and ridiculously inexpensive must-have from Mora
Slightly longer than the Mora 120, with a larger handle - but equally shaving sharp, out of the box. Then again, that level of sharpness is what we've come to expect from all Mora knives - which is why the fact that my Garberg arrived evenly dull in the edge department is still mystifying... With all the Mora whittling knives, it is wise to invest in a sturdy leather sheath or cover for the blade - both to protect one's digits from the edge and the edge from external damage. A good sheath will cost more than the knife, but the knife can be easily replaced if necessary. All in all - excellent.

Excellent knife at a good price
Another first class knife from Mora. Came razor sharp and is easy to maintain. It does require attention to prevent rust pitting but if you are aware of that it is no problem. Purchased for wood carving the only thing that let it down was the pathetic bit of thin card which served as a "sheath". I have since made it one of leather. My second Mora product and no doubt not my last.

Another great mora
Having really just started woodcarving, i didnt want to spend a lot of money on tools and as i already own a mora hunting knife (the best knife i have ever owned) it would`ve been just stupid to buy anything else. Straight out of the packaging and i could shave with this carving knife. Great build quality, blade sharpness etc, and for the price charged an absolute steal. I recommend buying mora knives, for the price and for what you get they are the best knives money can buy. Great delivery time too.

Sharp as a Very Sharp thing.
comfortable to hold and blisteringly sharp this is an ideal tool for wood carving and shaping. If you are not using a vice though I suggest purchasing a maille glove for your other hand as one slip and you will loose a finger

Carving knife
This is a very sharp easy to handle wood carving knife. The blade is a bit long for very precise/intricate cuts however I would recommend it for novice carvers and any other use were a sharp knife is required.I am very happy with this knife.
