Love it! Will take practice and patience but well worth the price.
I watched quite a few online videos before deciding to buy. As some other reviewers state if you press the steam button when the unit is closed then this is not according to the manufacturers instructions and you may damage the machine.PositivesSmall water tank but it seems to last for ages (just make sure you boil the kettle a while before you are due to iron)Heats up quickly and ready in more or less the same time as a standard iron (or seems so to me)Easy to storeGood safety features.Water tank can be full when you store the machine.Presses very well and does reduce ironing timeYou can sit down if you wish or need while you ironNegativesHeavier than a normal iron. Don't let this put you off, but you may want to consider if you can just have it set up somewhere without lifting it.I'm only 5'6" and average build so my cloths are not very big. So you may want to consider this before you buy, it may take a while longer to work out how to iron your clothes if they are large. For example, a mens shirt in my size fits on the press pad more or less. A mens shirt with a 48" chest will not meaning you need to move it around to press it all.Price!TipsBoil the kettle to make a cuppa before you iron and then use the boiled water if you need to top up the water tank. You will burn your hand on the upper heating plate, but this will stop when you get used to it so just keep practicing. You will have to learn how to iron again, but it will get easier and quicker over time. Don't expect miracles out of the box!You ideally want to set the press up on a clean polished table, to allow you to move the clothes around easier on the press pad.

speed up your ironing.
How nice to sit down and quickly press bedlinen. It takes a bit of planning as you have to fold whatever you're pressing to fit the board. Theres a handy space at the back of the board to tuck excess unironed fabric. Lift the handle, smooth layers of fabric over the pad, pull handle down, raise it again and pull fabric forwards to do the next part. simple and very quick. 5 metre long tablecloth is getting used more now that it's not a problem to iron. tee shirts are easy, but I found button up shirts a bit fiddly - do-able but not as quick as flat shapes. I don't think it will completely replace a traditional iron and board, but it's a very good addition to your equipment. Useful for pressing seams too.

ESP2 Steam Press - italian model
I've used Singer steam presses for 15 years and this is my third one. It is lighter than the previous models but is just as effective - it makes ironing much quicker for most clothes. The supplier was truthful about its Italian origin, but I don't really understand how they are allowed to supply any product without instructions in English or a UK mains plug. The English instructions downloaded without problems but are in a format that is fiddly to print off. It needs a Schuko mains adapter to provide sufficient support for the continental 2pin plug (from Maplin - £6). The legends on the control buttons are in Italian, which is not very convenient. If you decide to get one of these, my advice would be to pay another £10 and get a proper UK model from another supplier. The 4star rating is based on the general effectiveness of the press, ignoring the Italian downsides.

Brilliant product, ironed clothes without the hassle and effort of pushing an iron around.
After buying this I have away my steam iron and ironing board. The pressing process couldn't be easier and is really effective, even without steam. The steam boost is an easy press switch really handy for those stubborn wrinkles. The hardest part for me was working out the best technique for ironing the yokes. For the sleeve I slide a cardboard cut out down them so to keep them straight whilst pressing. All of this can be done sitting down and without the hassle and effort of pushing an iron around. Brilliant

Better than an iron !!
I have had a Singer press before ( for 10yrs ) & I was very pleased with it, so I thought I'd get another, though it said it was slightly shorter ( not by much ) its a good length for most items, the only reason why I have not given it 5stars are two things, 1/ I found when ironing any shirts you push the shirt to the back of the press & bring the shirt forward as you go along, the depth of the solid part of the press to the iron top is quite a bit smaller & the height from the board to the top ironing board is smaller, making me burn myself most times I iron a shirt !!! which is not good, I never burnt myself with my previous press, 2/ I sit down when ironing & find when I put my hand up to get the handle to press down my arm catches the rim of the top board ! This might sound as if I am putting it down but l am not as its irons really good, I am pleased with it, the digital display is much better, if your used to a press then your 1/2 way there, much better than an iron any day....

I am so pleased with this
I am so pleased with this! It is compact and easy to use and looks good.. As it's portable you can use it anywhere in the house. Ironing results have been great for duvets, sheets, pillowcases and the like which is why I bought it I the first place, and I have tried all types of clothing on it and have had good results for most stuff but have found shirts challenging so go back to the usual method for those! Bedding now takes a seconds to iron and instead of trying to cope with a duvet cover on an ironing board you fold and press - easy! Never thought I'd say it but ironing is now a pleasure!
