Bombay India Ink, 1.0 oz, Black (7BY) - Highly Pigmented, Lightfast, Permanent, Waterproof - for Brush, Drawing Pen or Airbrushes

I have not bought this for drawing, but for fixing imperfections on photographic lenses and their barrels to amend flare issues. It is very dark and absorbs light hitting on it, great to accompany flocking material or for reaching areas where flocking material cannot be installed. It applies easily and can be removed with ethyl alcohol. My only small issue is that it is not 100% water resistant on lenses - but anyway it is not a product made for such usage.

This ink is great for stick and poke!!! Great value for money and a good solid colour!!!

Good product, ink dries a little fast for me as I'm constantly pressing the nib to free the dries parts for more ink flow. Very nice black though and the applicator helps to transfer some ink to another container without hassle

I love this so far. I haven't used it much yet but it is so easy to get along with. I love the dropper top. It means that you can get a decent amount of ink and you don't have to dip your pen or brush in the jar. It also means that if you take out too much ink, you can easily suck it back in to the dropper and back in to the jar. The ink is pretty matte so it would be perfect for scanning and won't reflect light in an original piece of art.

I did not used it with water, i only used it in my fountain pen from faber castell, and everything seems fine. Ink dries very quickly on the paper, black is very very very opaque, for that price its really really worth it. I have not noticed any clogging, so its really good! But I have bad news for people who wanted to use this ink with alcohol markers - alcohol markers are smudging the ink. So you have to use the ink on top of a marker you cant use it as linework. But it works absolutely great with watercolours and gouache so at least that!

I do airbrush paintings and had previously used gouache paint, which is quite thick and requires the addition of some water to dilute it enough to not block the tiny nozzle in the airbrush. This ink however can just be used "as is" and being a fairly thin liquid works perfectly when undiluted in a .15mm airbrush. (teeny weeny nozzle :-). I bought black just to try it, but will now probably get loads of other colours... oh deep joy!

Permanent black ink, takes a bit of cleaning off dip pen nib but u get there! Waterproof ink for wet media work

This bottle came pretty quickly for where I am and was fairly reasonable priced (inc. the postage), but what I have found is that the pigment drops quite quickly and so it needs shaking every time you use it. My other Indian Ink is much richer (but too rich at times) - looking for an inbetweener perhaps...?

Llevaba tiempo buscando una tinta para dibujar que estuviera a la altura de mis expectativas y definitivamente esta las cumple con creces. Es fluida, seca rápido, y es resistente al agua. Y funciona muy bien si se usan plumillas, pues no las ensucia de más ni las obstruye (y no como otras tintas...S*ennelier) 10/10
