The sponges are 5.5*3.5cm. They are indeed small but I didn't find this too much of a problem, they are still very good value. I'm happy, anyway. And I certainly don't think they're too thin AS LONG AS YOU REMEMBER TO WET THEM BEFORE USE.

Not Exactly The Size You'd Expect
I guess I have to give this 3 starts because they ARE soldering sponges, but they are ridiculously small compared to what you'd expect. Plus there is no indication of the size in the description, which seems deliberately sneaky.

Just the job
These are great replacement sponges for my soldering iron stand.They are a tad cheap and cheerful and just a bit thin. They slso need to be cut to size.However, they do the job adequately and are good value.So, no complaints!

Small but durable sponges.
Small (but perfectly formed!), these little cellulose sponges expand in water and are robust in use, and perfectly good for wiping soldering iron tips. With ten to a pack (and myself not being a regular solderer), I can see these lasting me for a long time.
