A good purchase as part of a "new home" starter kit
They're tea towels, so not much can be said of them. Some people like soft tea towels that can't pick up water, others like the rough ones that only need one pass to collect it all. Like these ones. They're somewhat rough, and they do the job of drying or cleaning up spills pretty well. The material in them, as an added bonus, seems to clean glass very well, so I've taken one of three and cut it up into small squares to use in polishing items around the house and also for cleaning my glasses when I can't find the actual glasses cloth. The only faults I can think of would be that these are very thin - thinner than your usual tea towels - and that they are white. White shows up even the slightest layer of dirt your dishwasher/punished son who is doing the dishes manually might not of picked up, and also requires cleaning more often than a coloured dishwasher simply because it's hard to ignore.Still, they're a good item, and good for the price also. A nice part of a starter kit for a new homeowner, really.

Quality seems to vary, but if you get the decent ones you wont be disappointed.
I originally bought these and they were brilliant. Nice, thick and absorbed moisture really well. Based on my recommendation, I sent the link through to a friend who recently bought these exact towels and they were paper thin. Totally not the same tea towel at all!!!READ THE REVIEWS: Having since read some of the other reviews, it seems like there are two types of these towels and it's hit and miss as to which you receive when you place your order. Fortunately I ended up with the decent ones. IF you do get the decent ones you really wont be disappointed.

Excellent value for money
Like other reviewers I was worried what the quality of these tea towels would be like as they are so reasonably priced. However it was all the positive reviews that got me to take a chance. They turned out to be really excellent value for money. Yes they are quite thin and so not quite as absorbent as the more expensive tea towels that you can buy in this traditional style....but they are much much more absorbent than all those cheaper fluffy type towels or many of the cheaper tea towels on the market. For the money they are an absolute bargain and I for one would certainly buy them again. They also came really quickly.

Look great, but stains will not wash out.
These towels look great when new, but they don't last the course. I've only used them for a few weeks in the 18 months I've had them (in a holiday home) and in that short space of time, the white areas have attracted a few stains which have proved all but impossible to clean out. I've used both high and low temperatures on these cloths, and in desperation even stuck one in on a pre-wash with whitener. I treated another with a pre-wash soak for 24 hours before sticking it back in the washing machine. Despite all of this, the stains are still obvious! The towels now look dirty no matter how clean they actually are, and they have shrunk, become misshapen and curl at the edges. I'm truly disappointed with them. I'll be replacing them, but not with more from the Jubert linen company.

Happy with these Tea Towels
It does seem to be hard to find decent tea towels without spending an arm and a leg. But I took a chance on these, on the basis that they are like ones I used to use in a Bar. I did take the advice of other reviews and wash them first. I have begun using them now and I find them quite good. I would like it if the material was a bit thicker but overall, I am happy with them.

Tea Towell review
Overall this product is very good, it is a good size surface area, absorbent, equally as good on glass as it is on cutlery and crockery. The maintenance aspect is good it washes and irons well. Although I have only had them a short while and have only used them domestically based on past experience in the pub trade I think these towels will if looked after properly last for quite a while.

Great value
They do what tea towels are meant to do, they dry your dishes, and at a very good price too. My only reservation is durability. I've washed them several times now and holes have begun to appear in one of them, but only the one. But at £3.50 at time of writing, how long would they have to last ?Great Value.

On arrival I was disappointed at thinness of material compared to the other ones
Bought these at same time as green ones from same company. On arrival I was disappointed at thinness of material compared to the other ones. However I am still pleased with performance of towels. Would have liked more colours to choose from though.
