Digital Tyre Pressure Gauge, Car Tire Pressure Gauge for Truck Car Motorcycle Bicycle with Hose and Backlight LCD Display

I bought this product so I can keep my tyres at the correct pressures.This gauge is will build and feels of high quality, it has a large backlit digital readout that can be altered with a push of a button from psi to bar or kg/cm2 etc. -nice flexible rubber hose.You can slightly over-ressure the tyre with an air compressor then use the pressure release on this gauge to release small amounts of air until the tyre pressure is absolutely correct.The regular tyre pressure sensors munufacturers use in their wheels have a built in variance of upto 5psi of pressure and once the light comes on on the dash you could have been driving around for a while with less than optimal tyre pressures so this can help you keep an eye on them before the car gives you a reminder.this can be used on all sorts of tyres for bikes or ATVs trailers etc. - it is for a schrader type valve.This doesn't come with batteries = you will need two AAA's.Overall an excellent piece of kit - exactly what I needed and top quality - would absolutely recommend. five stars.

Best tyre pressure gauge I've owned. Being not in the first flush of youth (so bending down does get harder), this gauge is nicely designed, sturdy and, importantly, it is quick and easy to use.

Simple enough to install the batteries (not included), setting up the displayed units was logical and the unit is simple enough to use.The Large Illuminated Display is Very Easy to Read. PSi displays to one decimal point, BAR and KG/CM to two and KPA to zero.To date, accuracy seems to be excellent, though I will amend this review over time if necessary.The Hose is of an adequate length. You simply hold the Display Unit in one hand and the Connector in the other. The Connector is a tad fiddly and getting a leak free connection each and every time is very wishful thinking. That said, it works if you're careful and lucky. In an ideal world, it would have a 'lock on' fitting but for the price......Once connected, the reading is instantly displayed and very clear. However, as many reviewers have stated, if you release excess air through the Release Valve, the displayed reading does not alter, which is a MAJOR PAIN! (see update below)This means that you have to take a reading, then press the Release Valve to release a guessed amount of excess air, then disconnect the Connector, then press the Release Valve again (to zero the display), then reconnect the Connector and take a new reading, repeating this process until the correct reading is displayed. I'm getting used to the above, but it is a Definite Pain.Also, you need to remember to press the Release Valve when you are finished, to release the pressure on the diaphragm, which also zeros the display.All in all, the Positives marginely outweigh the Negatives and for the price, it is acceptable.That said, if it came with a 'lock on' connector and a display that altered when the Air Release Valve was pressed, this would be perfect, even if it cost more money!UPDATE: I'm afraid I found the issue that the display remains the same, when the Bleed Valve is depressed and the subsequent process just too frustrating and I've returned it.If you are only using it now and again, it's not much of an issue and it is very accurate but IMHO, for very frequent use, this is too frustrating :(

Easy to use just like a filling station air station

Having a motorbike accuracy in tyre pressures is important to me. This is spot on. It’s useable has an angled head making easier to get on. It creates a good seal with the valve. It also allows you to drop pressure and take another read without removing from the valve. Just press the button fully!So this replaced my draper and is superior in every way. If you’re looking for a really accurate, well built and easy to use gauge this is the one. Only downside is, it didn’t come with the 2 x aaa batteries needed, these have to be purchased separately.

Gauge is very accurate and double checked against a tire tek analogue gauge. A lit up back light helps to see the pressure in low light/ dark conditions. The back light lasts 30 seconds at most and often switches off before you have got to another tyre. There is probably some way round this but I lost the instruction manual so I put up with this minor issue.The gauge is fiddly to put on correctly and seal so you get an accurate reading. When you have the reading it is great. Only thing is if you let air out with the pressure release value the pressure garage does not come down to show how much you now have left after taking air out. If you take the hose off the valve the gauge does not hold its pressure for you to look at as it goes back to zero. So you have to fiddle with the gauge nozzle to put it back on.The haulage itself takes 2 AA batteries. Which last roughly 6-10 months depending on how you use it and the batteries you buy. Also don’t forget to turn it off after use if you don’t it’ll be flat within a month.Overall the gauge is good for the price but there are better out there for similar/ slightly higher cost. If you check your tyres once a month then this is a good choice but personally if you check to your tyres more often or like to have less hassle reading pressure after taking the nozzle off then buy something else.Sad really, as this could be fantastic if the nozzle wasn’t annoying and the pressure was kept inside the gauge until it was realised.

The display screen is clear and a lot more accurate than a gauge with a needle.
