This really worked well. A LIFESAVER for my RV plumbing.
My RV grey tank has a female connection point, so it's not like I could just replace a fitting. When the pipe broke off it would be a nightmare to use a Dremel or something to make the hole perfect for a pipe to fit in again. This worked PERFECT. It was easy to use and NOT SQUIRRELY either. You could hold it in just the right position quite easily. It is STURDY as well.People give 5 star reviews for substandard stuff so frequently it dilutes the meaning, but this product TRULY warrants a 5 start review.

WoW Thanks You Saved My Bathroom Install
I had to cut an old leaky flange out to raise it level with a new floor. While cutting out the flange with my reciprocating saw I cut into the pipe. I tried chiseling the old pipe out but I quickly gave up and looked for a better solution. I had my doubts; maybe it would be flimsy and break, not sized right, too difficult or not sharp enough to cut the pipe. I thought at least I'd be there for a while. To my surprise the tool was heavy and durable. The blade was plenty sharp enough to make rather quick work of the pipe left inside that fitting and the guide and blades were sized perfectly as described. I now find myself with a new, must have, reusable tool should I find myself in this situation again. New flange and toilet installed. Thank You!

Does exactly as advertised
I don't know if I made a mistake or it is sized wrong. But the 1/2 inch bore was exactly the same size as the out side of 1/2 inch pipe. But other than that product worked great.

Works, kind of
I needed to replumb my pool equipment and was hoping to reuse some pipes. This did drill out the old pipe but ended up cracking the outer pipe I wanted to keep. Old PVC is brittle so I can't blame this thing too much. The main issue is it doesn't cut very clean and it's difficult to insert a new pipe once you've drilled out the old one. Would only recommend this if you have no other options.

Does the job
It's not very fast, and it makes a mess with the plastic shavings, but it does the job.Saved me from having to rip up the floor in the bathroom to change a coupler! This reamer removed the 3" ABS DWV pipe inside the broken coupler, and when it reached the end of the coupler, the coupler fell off. I was able to install a new coupler with ease.

not accurate to the ordered measurement
This is s decent product, BUT in doing this function, the exact measurement is critical. After using the tool, we found that the opening was greater than 1-1/2" thus making the piece unusable as a fitting for 1-1/2" OD pipe to reinsert. We had then to put a sleeve on the outside of the male connection and then insert the pipe. The tool was worse than useless, it actually destroyed the female recepticle. accuracy is critical and evidently lacking in this tool. I have to return it, I can't ever use this .

learning curve, have a razor knife
this product works. you will need a razor knife to clean up the edges. the refit will be tight, and i like that. but you need to learn to let the tool work, and physically hold it so that it goes slowly.i have recommended this to others i know. it is a great way to salvage pvc parts. get it, work with it, and you will be better off
