I haven’t had the jacket for long but I have used it quite a bit so far. It does an excellent job at blocking cold wind. I got the next size up so I could wear warm clothes underneath in the winter season. It is true to size for me. It keeps the rain out unlike what some people have said in the reviews, maybe they are from a competitor and left bad reviews to level the playing field. The only gripe is the zipper is left handed instead of right handed so it’s kinda weird but works nevertheless. Viking, please start making a US standard right handed zipper on these jackets for men, in the US women’s clothing have the zipper on the left hand side.

Good jacket. Good for wind/water protection, but you will need wear additional layers in cold weather because it don’t keep you warm. The weight of the jacket is adequate.

I bought this Viking Professional Journeyman 300D Rip-Stop Fire Retardant Reflective Jacket for my husband who drives a gas truck. It protects him from the rain and makes his job not as dangerous.
