XINGDONGCHI Wireless-N Wifi Repeater WLAN 802.11n/b/g Network Router Range Expander 300m 2dbi Antennas Signal Boosters (White)

Bought one of these a couple of years ago for upstairs in my home and it worked well. Found wifi problems in new extension so purchased a second to boost signal. Could get new one to work downstairs but upstairs lost internet connection. Obtained revised installation instructions from supplier but still could only get one or other of the two extenders to connect to the Internet not both. After further enquire and many hours of fiddling I discovered that resetting the extender back to its original set up allowed the revised instructions to work correctly. Hopefully both extenders will continue to operate successfully and if they do I would thoroughly recommend.

I look after the equipment for a group which teaches IT in a church hall. Our Asus N55U router/modem recently lost its WiFi capability after less than 2 years part time operation. Rather than spend £80+ on a new replacement I bought this item, connected it to the Asus router with an Ethernet cable, and set it up as an access point. Tested using a combination of laptops, desktops, phones, and a printer (10 in total), all on the internet simultaneously -- all showing full strength in a hall 40m long. Took my laptop outside and still got full signal through 2 walls.What can I say - it's doing the job for £15 and my only concern will be its longevity ( NB. + it also only does the 2.4 Ghz, not the 5Ghz) - I will update this review in a few months - watch this space.

Keeps disconnecting after some time, and I need to reset it and set it up again. It's really tedious and annoying, it can't work for a full month, sometimes not even a week without disconnecting. 2 stars because at least when it does work, it works well.
