Incredible!
If you're like me then you've probably had trouble running your bike in cold weather, after few Google searches I discovered "carb icing" and after searching for solutions I heard about this. I ride a 1999 intruder which is incredibly cold blooded and hates anything below 3 degrees. I put 120ml into a full 12 litre tank and went about my commute, on my way to work I didn't notice much change (0 degrees) but on my way back it was acting as though I was riding on a warm day with no issues at all, it was actually -5. Massive noticeable almost immediate improvement! I will definitely be buying again and I would seriously recommend it!!

Clean running
Used this a few times now and seems to be doing what it says. I am getting clean throttle response and tick over now the temperature has dropped for winter

Expensive but works really well
Wanted to get more from my 50cc Speedfight II so replaced the standard exhaust with a straight through Geinelli pipe and had to increase the jet size to compensate for the additional air flow - she now does 55mph. However, the increased airflow through the carb started causing issues in winter. On the few days it's around 0 degrees C and damp, either sleet, snow or freezing fog, the carb would freeze solid and i'd have to wait by the side of the road for 10 minutes like a numpty waiting for it to thaw.Pour a cap of this stuff into a full tank and I get no issues at all. I even think it improves starting from cold but that might just be my imagination. So I get to keep my top speed and don't get carb freeze anymore which is great. The reason I haven't given the product 5 stars is purely down to the price. At nearly £20 a litre it isn't cheap and makes the scooter ever so slightly more expensive to run than my bigger bikes kinda defeating the object.... but i won't go back to 40mph!

Great service
Bought for my son aged 18 who has a Suzuki Bandit.Silkolene arrived promptly. Bought on recommendation from bike forums to try and cure running problem. After a lot of investigation, the running problem eventually transpired to be due to a fuel pipe not being quite connected properly! But will use the Silkolene at some point anyway. When the Silkolene arrived, the packing smelled slightly and there was evidence of the bottle having leaked.I reported this to the seller in case they wanted to check all their stock for leaks. When I mentioned this to the sellers, they were very helpful and they asked me to see how much was missing. Very little missing and I could have returned the bottle for a replacement, but instead they very kindly gave me a small refund to compensate for the loss of product. I felt this was very good service.

Avoid contact with paint and plastic
I’m probably going to be horrendously biased. Why? Because I mixed it to the correct level with fresh petrol, accidentally spilled a tiny drop in my beloved motorbike and it took the finish off my paint and indicator in a few seconds. It’s so toxic. But does it help you’re fine run smoothly...yes.

sym symply
Speedy delivery. Bought this item as it was recommended by a friend on The Sym Owners Forum for the UK . My Sym Symply 50 was left for over a week in sub-zero temperatures and took a bit of effort to start so I add some to my fuel on fill up. Does it work? I have no idea as since then we haven't had a prolonged cold spell where its been left idle. Typical! You don't need much in a 50cc scooter so it will last ages! If my mate in Scotland says its good then that's all I need to know!
