This statue of Mars is absolutely fantastic. It is really well made with nice detail. It is not cheap looking, and it doesn't feel cheap when held. It isn't heavy, but it also isn't really light, either, so it feels good when you lift it. The statute arrived in short order and with good packaging. Nothing was broken.I strongly recommend this Mars statue. It is exactly as described. Very very nice. 5 stars!Side Note: I also ordered the Cowboy statue, the one where the Cowboy is carrying a rifle in his left hand and a saddle in is right hand. Unfortunately, the Cowboy statue arrived broken into 4 pieces. The Cowboy statue appeared to be excellent, like this Mars statue, but since it was broken, I gave it a 1-star review. I sent the Cowboy back and was immediately refunded my money. I plan on buying another Cowboy statue. If you like Cowboy stuff you might consider the Cowboy statue.

Amazing detail and perfect for the history or military buff.
The God of War himself in all of his glory. A cold cast bronze resin statue with the detail to show. If you do not want to pay the heavy price tag for a solid bronze sculpture, then I recommend this. The statue itself is heavy and solid. The spear is plastic but serves it purpose well. This will make a beautiful display piece in a library, study, or in a display case. The package came very quickly and was in perfect condition. Packed in a cardboard box and Styrofoam container I would strongly recommend you keep both if you are moving or need to pack it away.

Statue
As advertised. I'd say it is worth the price. It arrived on time, in one piece, and looks quite nice. The size and weight are good and as expected. The detail is very adequate. It is the poor man's bronze; it gives the proper look. It forms something of a centerpiece in my martial arts studio, where it is quite fitting.

Mars, not Ares
I didn't realize it said "Mars", not "Ares" on the base of it. And his face is a little ugly. But it's a great size and quality, so I can't complain too much. Ares seems to like it better than the last statue I had for him, too, so it gets that godly stamp of approval.
