Cute and packs a punch
I normally use what is essentially the full size version of this 1 in Conair curling iron, but was curious about a travel sized one for trips. Right away, I noticed a few things (besides that it is half the size!).1) The iron does not have temperature control. If this is an issue, don’t buy it.2) the “clip” control is a little light on tension compared to a full size iron. This second factor meant I could put less hair in the iron than I normally do - but not much less.I would say it took me double the time to curl my hair that it normally does (and I normally only spend about 5 minutes on my shoulder length hair). It puts out a solid amount of heat, though. Even though it took me longer, I am going to keep this and travel with it. Half the size is worth it taking double the time to use in my opinion. If you want it to work exactly like a full size, you will be disappointed.

SO ADORABLE! Perfect for getting rid of cowlick....
This is a travel curling iron...so it is probably not going to be the size you expect it to be. But, it is super adorable and perfect for what I need. It is small and compact, it does a great job of getting rid of cowlick that I constantly get with my bangs since I have curly hair. Blowdrying and hairspray don't work for me.The cord is long, which is really nice and something I wasn't expecting. I was expecting a short cord. This heats up quickly. I'm just a little surprised that the branding is rubbing off already, but that's not an issue with me at all.

Perfect for traveling with a backpack.
I got this for an upcoming trip in Europe for which I will only have a backpack. You do have to use small sections of hair, but my hair is thin so it wasn’t too hard. It didn’t take long to get the hang of using it, compared to my regular sized curling iron. For what I am going to use it for, I think it will be fine. The temperature was hot enough. My hair did get a little stuck in the clamp a few times, but I can deal with that.

Perfect for short hair, bangs and compact for travel
This travel size curling iron is perfect for managing bangs or short hair and is super compact without being too difficult to use! If you have hair longer than chin length, or require high heat styling, this probably won't work very well for you.The iron has only an inch or two that heats up for curling, and the arm/clip that holds the hair down does not open very wide so you can only curl small portions at a time. This is perfect for taming your bangs, or keeping up with shorter styles. The iron does not get very hot, so if you are looking for a tight curl this is not a good option, but it works great for softer curls and waves.

Short
This was too short a barrel, my friend and I returned it. She kept burning her finger.
