FlexifoilParachute 100% Nylon Fabric Hammock - Perfect for Outdoor Living, Camping, Backpacking & Travelling

I was really impressed at the quality of this item. OK, so it's a little garish in colour, but at least I won't lose it!The fabric's thickness doesnt inspire confidence (it's so thin, you can see through it!) when you first unpack it from it's handy built-in stuff sack, but once you find a place to hang it up and try it out, you'll soon change your mind!To hang it up, you simply tie the two included ropes around some suitably solid objects about 2-3metres apart (i'd recommend using a climber's figure of 8 knot) and then clip the carabiner at each end of the hammock onto the ropes. Remember to tie those ropes up quite high, as they stretch quite a lot when you put your weight on!The first time I got on, I wasn't sure it would all hold, but now I'll happily dump myself into the hammock without thinking, and it's so comfortable that I've fallen asleep in it a few times whilst watching movies!If there was one thing I could improve about the product, it would be to improve the stitching between the 3 pieces of fabric. It doesn't look particularly strong and I expect that this will be the failure point in the end.

The hammock is a great addition to our garden and gets used all the time. We simply attached it to a tree and the wooden pergola and it gave a very comfortable an relaxing place to sit. I read lots of books and its the perfect place to just sit back and read! The material is very tough and shows no sign of wear from the frequent use. All in all we are very pleased with the hammock as it is well made and of a very good quality seeing the price paid!

Looking forward to the summer when I can test this properly out in our trees. It appears robustly stitched and well made. We already have another parachute (Gecko) hammock, which was more expensive and doesn't seem as robust. The big plus point with all parachute hammocks is that they pack away small into the integral pouch (which doubles as a useful pocket when it's strung up). My only worry at this point is the strength of the carabina clips that come with hammock, but then these are not really needed if you use rope to string the hammock up.

Not had a chance to try it out yet but cant wait to give it a go! It is lightweight and packs down into its own bag which is attached to the hammock and doubles as a handy storage place when in use. The ropes and fabric seem good quality - just need to learn some knots so I can give put it up on my next camping trip or in the garden!

Great product, light weight & compact with its own bag & packs down. Easy to set up & first use appears well made. Looking forward to plenty of relaxed use during the summer.

I didn't know that I really needed this, but bought it anyway as I love hammocks.This one is excellent, light and compact, appears at least as well made as any of the Flexifoil kites I have.You need to know a few decent knots (the internet will teach you) in order to put it up securely. And you need something decent to hang it from.

My wife thinks this hammock is awesome, she loves it! Really well made and comes with all the attachments you would need to set it up. Made from the same material as the kites (I think) and takes my substantial weight with no problem. Highly recommended!
