I've tried traditional mass-market dandruff shampoos such as Head and Shoulders with limited success as the dandruff is usually noticeable again within 24hrs or less. Of course I could wash my hair again but I find frequent washing dries my hair out very quickly (especially if it contains chemicals such as sulphates) so this isn't really an option. I spotted this product being recommended on an 'SLS free' cosmetics website and decided to give it a go. I have to say that it worked from the first application and I've noticed that I can easily go three or four days without seeing any flakes whatsoever, an added bonus is that my scalp doesn't itch like it used to either. Its not the cheapest shampoo on Amazon but it is a good sized bottle and the fact that it leaves my hair soft, manageable and flake free for days at a time more than justifies the cost. If run of the mill dandruff shampoos don't work for you, consider trying this product - well recommended.

This shampoo fixed all the problems I was having with a dry, flaky scalp. It doesn't lather and has a strong smell but I got used to that after a couple of washes. The bottle lasted for ages as well. One star taken off for the fact that the price has doubled since I bought it. When I originally bought it it was around £15, but is now closer to £30. I've been going through other shampoos trying to find one that works as well as this for a cheaper price and I've had no luck so far... but I also can't afford to drop £30 every time I need a new bottle of shampoo. Maybe if I become desperate enough I'll come back to this as I know for sure that it will work perfectly... but until then I'll sadly have to look elsewhere. This is an excellent shampoo and if you can afford it then I definitely recommend it.

I love this product it is amazing and has stopped my head itch and dandruff.

I have suffered with an itchy and dry scalp for years, after a few times of using this my hair feels soft and so much less itchy. In fact, not only did this product truly work but it smells gorgeous. Definitely going to repurchase!

I have used many Purad'or shampoos and I do really think it's a great product. Unfortunately the price is a down side as well as this time it came protected with a cello tape rather than usuall protective seal which makes me wonder why ?

I’ve been using this shampoo for years and it’s awesome! I’m a sensitive snowflake and have to be careful to not use products that irritate my skin or dry it out with anything harsh. My itching and flakes are completely due to a dry and sensitive scalp, and this is the only “natural” shampoo that works for me. It doesn’t leave my hair greasy and smells great (it reminds me of an essential oil blend from an organic spa). The bottle lasts a while too. If you have thicker hair I’d recommend using one of those rubber scalp massager brush things to get it distributed evenly without having to use too much. I leave it on my scalp while I condition the ends of my hair to really let the shampoo sink in. I'll use a clarifying shampoo after every 4th or 5th wash when it’s hot and I’m sweating a lot, because sometimes this shampoo doesn’t grab all of the oil when it’s built up a bit more.
