We've just started our 5.5 month old daughter on solid food, following baby led weaning. She has chunks of solid food to gnaw on, as well as loaded spoons of softer foods. We hand her the spoons and she shoves them in (and sometimes around!) her mouth. These spoons are perfect for this, they hold enough puree or similar to get into her mouth, are short enough for her hands (but not too short for ours), and are soft tipped so she can't hurt her mouth. So glad we bought them, great introduction to spoons!

These are great. My daughter loves eating from this and using it as a teether. I started suing them from the get go. I started weaning at around 5 months. It does hold purées and yogurts onto it. I would definitely recommend these for anyone who would like to encourage independent feeding or even as a teether!

These spoons are very colourful and very easy for babies to grip and pop in their mouth and are great for help with teething too. We found that they were just a little bit too big for our 4 and a half month old to get in his mouth when he was trying food for the first time (only tasters, not weaning until he is 6 months) as it is a thick rounded edge. The "splat" design in the middle of the spoon holds puree'd food quite well and helps cover plenty of the gum surface in the side of baby's mouth. Good choice if, like us, you find that normal teethers do not work.

My baby loves to self feed but found a conventional spoon too tricky. This spoon clings onto food well and avoids soo much mess. Baby loves it

Those spoons are amazing when your baby just start to feed themselves by spoon and they dont know yet how to use it properly, this spoon allows your baby to learn how to take food from bowl and put it in their mouth very easy, where the traditional spoons are a bit trick for baby when they dont know yet how to eat by spoon. The spoons have super flexible and soft ends so it bends easily. Definitely recommended :)

These are great teething toys, and handing for giving him something to hold while I feed him so he doesn’t keep grabbing the actual spoon out of my hand. However I’n not sure they really would help him learn to feed himself as they just encourage vigorous chewing rather than the actual skill you need to use a spoon (ie don’t chew it...)

Great spoon and amazing for weaning. Very flexible and easy to handle. Only negative is you can do with a small brush to clean holes.

We first got these for first spoons to dip in purées, yoghurt, thick soup and things - but it turns out they’re also brilliant teething toys! My littlest loves it especially now her big teeth at the back are coming through as these reach the sore spots where other teething rings don’t

These spoons are awesome. Perfect thing to use when baby is just starting out with solids. They really do pick up everything and hold semi-liquid foods! Plus no scoop like a regular spoon, so baby can actually get all of the food off. Mine also really likes how chewy these are! Great for teething
