The Salmon Luke "me-feed-me" tableware was invented by the frustrated parent of two young boys, after searching far and wide for a bowl which the children could use as they learnt to feed themselves. Every brand, shape and size of bowl was tried, from suction cup bowls which never stuck for longer than a few seconds to clover shaped bowls which looked promising but ended up being too shallow allowing food to easily be pushed out over the rim. Nothing really made the task of learning to feed any easier. So as the mother of invention is said to be necessity, a three year quest was embarked upon to attempt to invent the perfect training bowl and cutlery. After hundreds of design iterations and many hours of testing by young children across the country the Salmon Luke "me-feed-me" tableware was finally launched. The winner of many accolades and design awards, we hope that you'll agree that this is the very best bowl and cutlery designed for the job of learning to self-feed. In fact, your satisfaction is very important to us, and is 100% guaranteed. If for any reason you are not completely convinced that our dinnerware improves your child's self-feeding, we will refund the full sale price plus all shipping and handling costs, without hesitation.

Great, but expensive
Dinner time has been getting increasingly more upsetting(and loud) for our 17 month old, who is getting frustrated trying to feed herself. We bought the fork and spoon combo, and also bought the corresponding bowl. The past 2 dinners have gone much more smoothly. She is getting much better feeding herself independently, and she loves it. BUT, why on Earth is a plastic spoon and fork set $15?? Same with the bowl, 1 bowl, $15, when you can get sets of 4-5 at the store for $5. We would buy more if these weren't so outrageously priced. The products seem to be working well, but $30 is pretty steep for one dining set.

Great for little hands and little mouths
Very easy for my son (12 mos) to hold and bring to his mouth. Fits the coordinating me-feed-me bowl perfectly. Great set together, but the spoon and fork can be used with any other plate and bowl.

but useful and worth the buy
I think the spork is really helpful with training. The spoon is too deep and we never took to it. Slight staining with red foods, but useful and worth the buy.

I love the way the fork tines are done
I love the way the fork tines are done. They work well to hold the food on the fork. However I feel that both are just a bit to wide. My daughter is 14 months and can't easily get these in her mouth, especially the spoon since that needs to go all the way in.

Great for Self-feeding
My 15 month old absolutely loves these utensils. They fit in his hands perfectly and he’s able to put the fork in his mouth without a problem. Perfect for learning to self feed.

Good shape for learning but not great quality and doesn't last
Seems a good size and shape - though actually a bit wide for baby's mouthHowever don't like that the blue silicone cover is a bit tatty and started peeling off quickly - stopping baby chewing it is difficult during a meal time! And the plastic gets scratched/discoloured quite quickly.

Great product! Thank you
Dubious about how happy I could be about a spoon, fork and bowl - but omg! They are fantastic! All of our other baby spoons have long handles and are really hard to use. This one is short and she can eat so quickly without having to balance things on the spoon! Also the bowl is fantastic - doesn’t tip and great shape for getting the last of the food out using the corners

Impressive!
As a childminder, I sometimes try new products to help the children with weaning or drinking from a cup.I admit I was sceptical about yet another spoon and fork set - and an expensive one at that!Ladies and gentlement: it WORKS!! I am so impressed! The baby I tried it with fed herself after weeks of stubbornly using her hands. Worth every penny, in my opinion.

Hard for baby to hold
I bought these for my son who is 15 months old and who mostly uses his fingers, so I bought these to help him in the transition to cutlery.Unfortunately, he tends to hold them at the narrow end bit. (Contrary to the description which states this design encourages them to hold the fat bit). This means he can't get a good grasp and so the cutlery flops down and drops the food. Will be looking for a different set.

Baby & toddler cutlery set. For babies
This cutlery set is brilliant for my grandaughter of 13 month to hold & she has soon grasped the idea of how to use them.the spoon is shaped just right to hold & scoop up food & the fork is of a good shape & no sharp ends making it safe. The handle the right length & shape make it easy to hold. Very pleased with this design, as other baby cutlery tend to have a long handle making it difficult to use.
