Really works. Put a couple of scoops and the waste oil turns into greasy jello. Start with less powder at first -if you didn't put enough, all you have to do is reheat the oil and put more in. So much easier to throw out oil now. No more clogging pipes, no more garbage bags dripping oil all over (nothing like garbage infused waste oil on your kitchen floor -good luck mopping that up!) Sometimes, the jello will stick to the pot and not come out -just heat it on high heat real quickly -it'll melt the bottom and it won't stick anymore but the rest of the jello will come right out (or you can just spoon it out without melting it).

This product to dispose of used cooking oil is fantastic. Up to now, deep frying has always been a chore even though I love the benefits of deep frying. This product works as advertised if you follow the directions which are very simple. One TBSP of product to one cup of very hot oil. After the oil has cooled, the product makes the oil solid so all you need to do is release it from the pan and throw it out. Easy-peasy! Thanks.

I've started doing more deep and shallow frying, and this is a fantastic way of removing the used oil. Make sure the oil is warm, mix in a spoonful of the powder, stir to dissolve it, and it turns into a gelatinous disc you can just throw away.
