and highly recommended!
Another product that I should have located years ago. Used in conjunction with a variable speed power drill, it's made a nightmare job of under-car rust removal into a simple and safe procedure: with the added benefit of greatly improved working safety, because I can use the drill extension with one hand while holding the nozzle of a vacuum cleaner near to the workpiece in the other. Dirt cheap, incedibly effective, and highly recommended!

It does work but not for heavy jobs.
Basically it works perfectly well but what you need to be aware of is it cannot handle much torque. So as soon as what ever you are Drilling/grinding etc starts to snag you run the risk of the cable locking up.Light jobs only.

Low quality, broken on first use
Looked good out of the box but as soon as it met any resistance during use it broke inside the sheath. Basically useless. The Katsu one on Amazon is much better and cheaper.

Broke after one use
Intially I was really pleased with the look and feel of this rat tail for my drill. Planned to use it whilst removing particularly tough moss on the roof of my house. The extension was really flexible and seemed easy to use. The first time I tried it however I was on the roof trying to use a rotating wire brush attachment. As soon as the wire brush came in contact with the tiles, it caused the rat tail to coil into itself, and pulled the whole extention out of my hand, whipped round and hit my arm causing me to drop my drill which slid down the roof and landed on concrete slabs. Ouch!! The rat tail was ruined as the interior cable must have snapped, and I was lucky my drill survived the drop. Now in the bin!! Very disappointed.

easier to handle
so much better with this addition, as you are able to manoeuvre the tool easier than just a heavy drill. No issues so far and I have used it an awful lot since buying. good piece of kit.

After you've finished drilling REMOVE THE DRILL BIT!
Bought this a few months ago because I thought it might come in handy for wood working projects. Having finally had occasion to use it I am quite happy with it. It enabled me to drill holes in tight spots that the average power drill could not fit.On finishing drilling the first hole with this device it became abundantly clear to me that setting the device down (as you would a normal power drill) would make the drill bit very vulnerable to being snapped, due to the nature of the device it tends to move rapidly and in unpredictable directions if accidently knocked. So after you've finished drilling REMOVE THE DRILL BIT!Fitting and removing the drill bit is done by twisting separate parts of the chuck in opposite directions. I found I could tighten it up fairly easily, but I was only using relatively small bits (3mm / 4mm) to drill into wood.Update:This device has helped me out again! I needed to drill a large amount of 1mm holes in wood for panel pins. My power drill doesn't go down to 1mm diameter drill bits, so in desperation I tried the flexi drill extension and was pleasantly surprised to find that it does accept 1mm drill bits!
