I like this cutter with the bands rather than wires. It cuts fruit and other foods so much better because it is stronger and more accurate.

If you're reading this, you are too invested in your egg-slicing venture. I will say, this thing is SHARP. Keep your fingers CLEAR of the blades, and never let a child grab this thing, it will do some serious damage.Great for cutting eggs, if a bit of overkill. I got it for the hole-poking thing which was SUPPOSED to always make eggs come out of their shell easily after boiling. It doesn't really do anything.

Updated: I received a new version of this product from the manufacturer and it is a lot better than the first. More sturdy and less likely to bend or break. Great customer service.Old review:I only use it for hard boiled eggs and mushrooms but the blades bent on a mushroom and now the main attachment I use doesn’t fit in the slots

Very sharp be careful

Good quality. I like using the solid blades vs. flimsy wires of competitors. I also like having several size options for slicing.

Haven't tried it yet but it looks like it will do the job I purchased it for: slicing mushrooms. If it doesn't, I will come back and update this review.Update: worked great the first time I tried it. On second attempt at slicing mushrooms one of the blades got stuck, bent and twisted. Returned the item.

Liked the interchangeable slicer blades.

Great fun, the steel blades are soooo much better than wire ones. Easy to use, washes easily too
