Youshiko Radio Control Projection Clock (Premium Quality/Clear Display/Official UK Version)

I have two Youshiko weather stations, & they work very well, so when I was searching for a new bedside clock & saw that Youshiko made them too, I bought one.Construction is very good. Some that I looked at were very flimsy but this one is solidly made. The display is also good, & is readable from several angles, unlike my previous clock, which was vague when viewed obliquely.The readout shows the day, date, room temperature & of course the time. The projector shows the time & temperature & is best used when the clock is plugged into the mains supply with the adaptor (included). The projector can still be used without the adaptor, but the unit will turn the projector off after a maximum time of 30 minutes. There is also a button to reverse the display, if required. Temperature is displayed in either Fahrenheit or Celcius. Of course, there is a focusing dial to help give the nice, sharp image that characterises Youshiko products.One minor niggle is that although the unit will work with 1.2 volt rechargeable cells, it really needs 1.5 volt cells to work properly. When I am running on 1.2 volt batteries & plug the adaptor in, it makes a "beep", which I think must be to indicate low battery. When running on 1.5 volt cells, it doesn't make this sound.Overall, I like the clock very much, & I hope it proves to be as reliable as my two weather stations

This clock is exactly what I wanted. The instructions are easy to follow, the clock face figures are easy to read and the projection, on either the ceiling or wall, excellent. Well made and robust, a very good timepiece all round.

Excellent radio controlled projection clock. Exactly what I was looking for to replace my old project clock.I had had it for many years and really missed it when the display gave up. This is much better, I love the accuracy, the clarity and the room temperature. This is a bonus I didn't know I needed, but I really like it.I am very happy with this clock and thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for such a clock.

This is a very nice projection clock for the price you cannot get better.It is the second one from the same supplier. The first we have had about three years, it is still fully working and travels around the world with me helping my sleep patterns so I do not waste time in a strange hotel room trying to find my watch or phone. The only issue I've had is it sometimes does not pick up and auto correct for local time outside of Europe. But I put this down to poor local signals. And yes the comments about only 180 degree projection rotation is correct and a slight irritation. But most others either do not rotate or just offer a flip function.

My only dislike is the buttons to adjust are at the rear , albeit I basically wanted it for ceiling reflection , Arthritic fingers and small buttons make it fiddly , how and ever as I say it's great display, back light is to bright to keep on continually for mr , I'm happy with my purchase and I'd Defo recommend seller and this item, no hesitation, yes there are cheaper , I liked the size of this one suits my needs .

I wanted a small clock for my caravan and chose this as I have previously bought Youshiko items with no problem. I bought this (from Youshiko store) knowing it was a used item but was confident it would be ok, as it was stated to be in "as new" condition. On arrival I plugged it in and switched it on, within two minutes it had set itself with time and temp. Unfortunately the line with temp and day/date info was only displaying the top half of the information. So I switched it off, switched it back on, but no better. I contacted the company to return the item (via Amazon) and they responded virtually immediatley asking for photo of the screen, which I sent, and within an hour they told me that they had refunded my money, and that I did not have to return the clock. I do not blame Youshiko for this, I think it probably got bounced around in transit.So part of the clock was not working, the clock does work. So for customer service I give Youshiko 10outof 10.

Ideal as a projection clock, but absolutely rubbish as an alarm clock. There is no way to easily switch off the alarm and it needs to be reset every day, if you need an alarm clock don't buy this.
