Does as it says. A little bit fiddly with a brake cleaner but probably because I didn't have a good stand and on an e-bike so had to tie wrap the crank and pedal backwards

Great for cleaning the back cassette and chain

I love this product. It protects your back brake set-up whilst you spray degreaser on your back cassette and chain. There is a little pocket at the bottom that catches most of the dirt and oil that comes off your chain and cassette.

The idea is good......not quite there with this one I'm afraid. Firstly,after you've cleaned your chain you oil it. The 'waste' oil that gathers in the reservoir is, to all intent and purpose, still clean and there should be a tap of some kind at the bottom to be able to harvest this oil. Think about the environment chaps when designing stuff. There's also the problem where by if you forget to turn your crank/chain anti-clockwise the oil in the reservoir spills all over the place anyway. In short....great idea, but for the price it's poor.

I Have Not Used The Brake Shield Bike Cassette And Chain Cleaning Brake Disc Protector Yet, Waiting For Better Weather. One Thing Is I Have Large Wheels On My Bike So No Problem. So Anyone Thinking About Purchasing The Bike Shield And Wants To Use This Item On Smaller Wheels Is Either To Have The Bike Lifted Of The Ground With A Bike Stand Or Place The Wheel On A Block So That The Brake Shield Can Hang Correctly Around The Center Hub And The Bottom Tray Part Sits/Hangs Correctly To Collect Foreign Matter From Your Bike Cleaning.

could be much cheaper, essentially some plastic covering the brake disc, at least it is a solution but frustratingly priced
