My cabinet was loose and I was too lazy to figure out how to fix it. The screw hole got loose so I couldn’t just screw it back in. My friend told me to get these and it was simple to install.

I have a couple Little Free Libraries that use cabinet hinges. The doors blew off and tore the screws out of the boards. I was able to use these to repair it and they worked perfectly. Now the hinges broke instead :/ . But these are still standing and holding the peices mounted correctly. I did have to drill the holes out where the hinges mount slightly as they were a bit small, but that's a good thing because it made the fit perfect for my hinge screws.

These are not made specifically for Ikea Besta hinges, but will work with modification. The metal is only as thick as it really needs to be, so not very thick, but that makes it easy to drill out the two holes for the hinge bolts that go into the cabinet door. I also ended up cutting each plate with tin snips make them half size to make them less visible. One had to be cut to avoid the drawer rails. They were very easy to cut. This $5 kit saved my hundreds of dollars.

It's incredibly thin metal but works as advertised save us from a major cabinet repair. Made it a simpler one.

Two person job, holes don’t line up, no directions but, cheaper then a new hinge.
