The media could not be loaded.  These are just basic lamp bases , the actual star of the show is the bulb you choose to use . The bases do not have a shade that is not their purpose . The purpose of these bases is to show off different types of light bulb . The lamp bases can be personalised to how you want your room to be lit depending on the bulbs used . I have some warm style bulbs in mine the give out a sepia type glow , I really like these and recommend them , yes they are basic but they shine when you decide what bulbs to use .

There may be some slight confusion when reading the product description as it currently states 2 sets of 2, to clarify this product contains 2 bedside table lamp bases along with an inline on/off switch and UK 3 pin plug for each base, no bulbs or shades are supplied.Item arrives in a small branded cardboard box, no frills but it's easily wrapped if gifting, this contains the two lamp bases with attached cabling and 3 pin UK plugs.Whilst the items are listed as bedside lamps they could be utilised anywhere, either together or separately, they are however best suited and intended as bedside lamp bases due to their inclusion of an inline on/off switch which is easily accessible whilst in bed.The bases are of a metal construction, strong yet lightweight and relatively thin, they have a matte black finish and the underside of each has black material, this conceals the wiring, prevents scratching of your surfaces and prevents it sliding around.Although i didn't measure it exactly, the cabling from base to plug is around 6ft in length which is actually quite generous, this also contains the inline switch which as you would expect is placed nearer the base to facilitate switching whilst in bed, both bases are identical.The bases are just that, bases, therefore no bulbs or shades are supplied, the fitting will facilitate a E27 screw in bulb of your choosing and of which there is a vast variety.This is a good product with nice matte black metal bases, generous cable length and good functional inline on/off switches, bear in mind there's no bulbs, no shades and no touch sensitive on/off switches and you'll be, i assume quite happy with your purchase.

I was really excited to try out these lamps because I loved the look of the minimalist design. Unfortunately, when they arrived, I was disappointed to find that they looked quite cheap and didn't feel very sturdy. I worry that they won't last very long.One of my biggest concerns with these lamps is their durability. They just don't feel very well made and I worry that they might break easily. On the positive side, they were easy to assemble and didn't take much time or effort to set up.Another thing to keep in mind is that these lamps don't come with bulbs, so you'll need to purchase those separately. This wasn't a huge issue for me, but it's something to keep in mind if you're considering buying these lamps.Overall, I'm not sure I would recommend these lamps. While I like the minimalist design, the lack of sturdiness and the fact that bulbs aren't included make them a less than ideal choice for me. If you're primarily looking for a decorative option, these might work for you, but otherwise, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

As has been previously mentioned these do not come with bulbs. Designed to be used with retro style led filament type decorative bulbs this will add about 50% to the total cost. However, you can choose your own shape bulb etc.Contemporary simple design. Black fitting, black cable, black inline switch, black plug top. Correctly fitted with 3A fuse.I say be careful where you place these as the base is not very heavy so easily moved. I would like to see it weighed.Price point at just under £10 each, in a pack of 2, not bad. But remember you do need bulbs.

A basic pair of lamps. No bulbs and no covers. They are about as minimalist as you can get. Plain black. Buy some stylish retro filament bulbs separately and you have something that looks quite stylish... because of the bulbs. Not bad, and they are well made, but I can't help feeling the lack of bulbs is an issue. No bulbs. Zero. None.

This set came without bulbs. Cheap looking, very lightweight which is big issue as it can easily be moved and broken. I was quite disappointed with them and wont be using as my bedside table lamps for sure.

Very nice pair of retro bedside lamps. These lamps don't come with bulbs. The fitting is for a standard size screw bulb fitting. These are designed for the retro look so no attachment for a shade. They are mains powered with on off switch on the wire, they work very well. We chose to have vintage style bulbs in them to make them look more retro style. The price is reasonable for the 2 just remember to buy the bulbs. Recommended

This set of 2 lamps are currently priced at £18.98 which is really good value for money.I use these as my bedside lamps and I love how they have the industrial look to them.Only thing I can really fault on these are I think they should of come with bulbs instead I had to wait till I went out and bought some when I wanted to try them out right away.They come with a mains plug and a on/off switch which is pretty basic.Overall they do there job, they are simple but I love the look.
