Does a perfect job and best of all: cheaper then the 'official' cable. I used it on my Hero3+ remote and first thought it didn't work since it did not charge right away. The problem was the copper connectors on the remote itself (not the cable). The connectors on the remote weren't clean (oxidized) so after I cleaned it by carefully scraping with the small flathead screwdriver and reconnected the charging cable, it worked perfectly.
