OXO 1101980 Good Grips Locking Tongs with Silicone Heads , Black , 12 inch

Had loads of other silicon tongs, which all broke - these ones seem to be more sturdy.

I really like OXO products, always great quality, easy to use and functional. Yes, you pay slightly more but they last! These tongs are great to use with the air fryer amongst other things. Grips food well and heat resistant. The handle has nonslip pads and there is a handle with a hole so you can hand them. They also lock close to save space.

From turning a full chicken to the smallest pieces of chicken these are fabulous.

Very comfortable to hold and easy to use. Easy to clean and dishwasher safe. Does the job perfectly! Worth the price!

Brilliant simple design of silicone tongs that works perfectly for me. It is long enough so I don’t get burnt on the air fryer and the ends comfortably grip both chips and chicken portions. I have arthritis in my hands so need to use a well designed tongs and this one is it! I also like the way you just push the top in or out depending on whether you want to store them locked.I am considering getting the 9” one as well as I can use the shorter tongs doing other cooking tasks.

Didn’t realise how much I was missing out by not having some silicone head tongues. I purchased to use with my Airfryer, but they have so many uses. Getting panini’s etc off my George Foreman grill, use in frying pans with non stick coating. The tongues lock securely, they open nice and wide, brilliant! I’m happy with the 23cm size they are very manageable.
