No troubles getting dog to wear
Our dog is allergic to pretty much everything outside, and one of the areas to suffer the most are his feet. He gets really red, irritated, severely itchy skin between his toes and pads three out of four seasons. We clean off his feet after every trip outside, but that option gets really expensive, really quick with buying wipes, paper towels, paw cleaner, extra laundry, etc. We delayed getting him booties since we weren't sure how he'd react.Well, finally we decided to go ahead and buy a set. Turns out he doesn't mind wearing these at all. His back paws are incredibly ticklish, so not having to go through the torment of that every time he goes outside is probably the better deal in his doggy mind. After a couple of minutes of wonky walking to get used to the feel of the booties, he was off romping in the yard. We still need to clean the booties (wipe down the bottoms after each trip outside if they are dirty, and toss in the laundry every so often to keep the insides clean), but it's a heck of a lot less work - and cheaper - than wiping his paws after each jaunt. The velcro straps keep the booties securely on his paws, and there is plenty of room for his toes and nails. We got the largest size available just in case, and we're glad we sized up one size. This allows his toes to freely spread like they normally would if his paws were bare. He doesn't suffer from lack of balance or steadiness when walking or running, even over uneven ground.Since these are used so frequently and as we do launder them, I suspect we will need to replace the two sets we have before the year is over. These booties are well made and seem to be comfortable for him, but like any shoe the tread on the bottom starts to wear down. We try to clean out the velcro as much as possible, but that can also start to loose grip over time. For as much as he wears these and the time and energy saved not having to clean off his paws several times a day (not to mention making less trash or using as much electricity and water), we will 100% get our money's worth. Now we feel pet parent guilt for not buying booties sooner!!!

Transformative Comfort for Senior Dogs
As a dedicated pet parent to a senior German Shepherd, I constantly seek ways to enhance her comfort and mobility. That's why I decided to try the CovertSafe Dog Boots, size 7, after reading Leah W's review for her Belgian Malinois. My dog, like many older canines, struggles with traction on slippery surfaces such as hardwood floors. Moreover, age has not been kind to her back and hips, and she often lacks the strength and grip needed to stand confidently. In the past, we relied on soft sock-type 'shoes' which provided minimal assistance. However, they were no longer effective for her changing needs. Enter the CovertSafe Dog Boots: a game-changer in our routine. We've been using these boots for a couple of weeks, primarily on her rear feet, and the difference is remarkable. What stands out is the practicality of these boots. They protect her paws outdoors, even in dew or light rain, without turning into uncomfortable, wet encasings. The dual velcro straps are a thoughtful feature, ensuring the boots stay securely in place while avoiding any excessive tightness that could cause discomfort. An important aspect to note is the necessity of giving your dog regular breaks from any footwear. To avoid issues like chafing, we have a routine where we put the boots on her at night and during our daytime outings. When someone is home, we give her feet a breather. These boots have significantly improved the quality of life for our aging companion, who faces increasing mobility challenges – a common issue for large dog breeds. It's heartening to see her move with more assurance and less discomfort. For any pet owner witnessing their furry friend's struggle with age-related mobility issues, I wholeheartedly recommend the CovertSafe Dog Boots. They've made a substantial difference in our lives, bringing comfort and joy back into our beloved pet's golden years.

Love!
UPDATE: We’ve have these for over a month now and go through phases of using them multiple times a day to just every other day (depending on weather) and they’re still in good shape. Our puppy actually stepped in his poop one night and it was COVERED so I considered throwing them away because I was NOT about to hand wash themlike the description says, but figured i’d throw them in the washing machine and see what happens. They held up! There’s a few little strings that have gotten snagged and loose but nothing major and honestly it seems like normal wear and tear. We’ve washed them a few times on delicate and let them air dry and they’re still great.—Love these booties! I got 2 pairs, both size 6 as our dogs are about 60 pounds. We’ve used them quite a few times and they’re holding together well, even after getting wet. They keep the pups feet dry and warm.Overall, I love these shoes, but of course everything has cons. If you’re looking for the downsides, I will say that these shoes might fly off if your dog runs super fast like mine, but it’s only happened a few times, mostly when we first got them before we knew how tight to put themon. They rarely come off now and we use them regularly through woods/bushes/vines. Our dogs like to potty in thorn bushes and heavy brush 🤦🏻♀️ and these shoes have helped sooo much with their confidence while walking in those areas since they know nothing will prick them. They do make some noise on certain surfaces, they legit sound like a bunch of suction cups going down the stairs of our apartment, but it’s not a huge deal for us.They get wet, but so far they’ve still kept our dogs feet dry despite getting damp. Also, one of our dogs has allergies and his feet weren’t reacting well to the grass, so these have helped his skin/fur as well.Overall, me and the pups love these shoes and the colors are very cute. I’d order more and i’ve recommended to friends. :)

Works great
I brought these for my service dog so his paw pads don't touch the hot pavement when I have to take him outside with me. Fits great.

Great fit. Easy to put on and get off. But…
These are great little boots. Unlike most, they’re easy to get on and off. But there’s one problem. The material on the inside. The material seems to love fox tails and other stickers. But at least you can see into them to pull out the stickers. All in all I would recommend. We have an over active Doberman who loves digging up the ground squirrels. She actually tears her nails on rocks. These boots save her nails and slow her down a little.
