Just as good as the expensive ones
This is a very simple and effective tool to bead tires. Dont waste your money on super expensive name brand. They all use the same theory and this thing is super heavy and super good quality.

EVERY Product SHOULD, and For The Most Part DOES, Come With Some Sort Of Printed Info
I removed the product from the cardboard box and set it on it's steel frame base. The pressure gage is horizontally mounted to the side of the tank, so you need to look down on it to view it. The photo is exactly what I saw. I then immediately looked for any product info, but there was NONE. My first immediate impression was the question "Is the glass cracked or something dislodged internally?" I lifted the product and slowly moved about in various directions and realized that the gage was partially filled with a clear and viscous liquid (kind of like "mineral" oil). I have owned and still have several air tanks, all with gages, but none have or ever been liquid filled. There was no leakage around this product's gage, so I gave the benefit of doubt that it's present condition was most likely manufacturer intended. There was nothing to advise a first time user of proper instructions or safety concerns, since for the product to do its stated job it must fire like the "Air Cannon" that it really is. I had seen this product used at my local tire shop, so I had an Idea of what to expect. Without the inclusion of product necessary paperwork, I'm not sure all important info (not included with product) would be intuitive to a first time user, nor should the manufacture assume that every buyer has the knowledge and experience on product proper usage and safety. The tank discharge is controlled by a "ballcock" valve operated by a lever. After filling the tank with 120 PSI, the valve was so difficult to open quickly enough to allow the discharge to be the kind of blast that could actually inflate the tire and seal the bead. The discharge was nothing like the ear protection type needed from the blast from a similar product used at my local tire shop. Nevertheless, I kept at it ("firing of the discharge") until I was satisfied that it would be comparable to local shop product that I know works. I did not as yet try it on tire bead sealing, but have no doubt (and feel satisfied) that it will perform as the manufacturer intended.

Unusable until you retape all the fittings
It's unusable out of the box all the fitting joints leaked. I needed to use it right away. So after taking it all apart and cleaning all the fittings and putting new Teflon tape on them and reassembling it. It was unusable.

May have to do a little adjustment upon arrival.
A great cost effective "air blaster" to help seat stubborn or collapsed in shipping tire beads. To note- this should be used with valve stem core removed and a full-flow air chuck such as- Haltec H-5265 Standard Bore Lock-On Air Chuck,Gold. Also, while this is not quite the original of this concept, a little messing with may be needed when it arrives. There was a fair air leak between the ball valve and the tank, probably caused by trying to "time" the ball valve handle to the tank. Easy enough to change/fix by removing the ball valve and building up the threads with Teflon tape to achieve desired position.Overall- excellent value.

It was the cheapest bead setter….
I am a contractor for Uhaul. Using either to seat a tire on the roadside is less than ideal. So I thought I would try this. The inlet valve was loose out of the box so I tightened it. It broke off…. I had another valve and replaced it. But once that was fixed the setter worked fine. Considering the next 5 gallon tank is substantially more expensive I’ll give this one a pass. Hopefully, this will allow me to present a more professional service to my customers.
