Westcott Titanium Super Softgrip Scissor Set (Pack of 5)

Bought these after countless other cheap sets had gone blunt (possibly due to my Husband using them for DIY admittedly). Thought if he paid for an expensive set he'd be less likely to use them for cutting carpet! They are extremely sharp and cut perfectly. Best scissors I've ever used. The pair with the blunted ends are perfect for trimming the hair under my dogs eyes. I also bought a tiny pair of needlework/craft ones from the same range for my daughter too. She says they are brilliant for cutting out with. Just hoping my Husband doesn't go and pinch the larger ones now!

Great make as all theirs scissors are. Good size rubber grip for an average man and certainly ideal for all you ladies. Titanium is 3 times stronger than stainless steel and these are razor sharp. I bought these to replace an identical pair of scissors that I lost somewhere in the house. They are small, but very sharp and can cut almost anything as long as it isn't enormous. The scissors are ergonomic and grippy due to their rubberised handles. They also have a very smooth cutting motion. The only gripe I have about these scissors is that they don't seem to keep their sharpness for too long, but then they aren't overly expensive, and sacrifices have to be made for quality in other areas.

Comfortable to use, easy to manoeuvre and sharp. A pair of scissors for every occasion, they fell robust so I am sure they will stand the test of time. I also like the colour and the rubber grip for your fingers, less chance of a slip if your fingers are sweaty or wet. A good solid product and good value for money.

I found these to be a strong sturdy pair of scissors, ideal for all types of cutting. They cut through thicker card and material as well as the basics, paper, cutting labels off etc. They cut incredibly fine lines and the quality is ace. The size of them is perfect for larger or smaller hands as the rubber grips make it easy for smaller hands to hold onto where as they are spacious enough for larger hands. They store away neatly and come well packaged. 5* pair of scissors that will last well.

I spent more than i usually would on a pair of scissors with the idea of having one pair which will last me a very long time, be comfortable to use and cut through everything with ease. These scissors feel solid, they're not uncomfortable to use are they are pretty sharp. So they came very close to being pretty much perfect. The one thing that let these down, in my opinion, is that the top blade is bent. I'm assuming it is meant to be as it is only slight and it means the blades pushed together as you close them, which is a good thing. The problem is when you try to cut in a straight line. The bottom blade - which is straight - in underneath what you're cutting so you can't see it, and the blade you are looking at is bent making it very hard to cut a straight line without constantly readjusting the scissors, even if you've drawn a straight line to cut along. This problem can be solved by turning the scissors upside down but then your thumb has to go in the big hole and fingers in the little one which just feels wrong. Because of this, i wouldn't really recommend them for anything that requires accuracy, i'm probably going to buy another pair and save these for cutting tape and opening things etc.

Had these scissors now for nearly six months and they are as sharp now as they were when we purchased. Not quite sure how other reviews say they are not sharp as they are everything you would expect or need cutting a variety of materials. We bought both 7-inch and 8-inch. Also, unlike many scissors we have purchased, there is no sign of the centre screw/rivet coming loose. Excellent quality all round. All too rare these days. Only slight negative is it's a shame they don't go one size larger as even the 8 inch are slightly small for larger cutting tasks. Would thoroughly recommend, even though unfortunately the price has increased by a couple of pounds since we bought ours.

Westcott is always good. Considering I've purchased four pair of scissors, I'd say I'm happy with their product. Titanium or not, you'll be happy with the performance. Awesome price as well

Na 13 jaar gebruikt te hebben op het werk er eindelijk ook een voor thuis gekocht, want het is gewoon oprecht de allerbeste schaar die ik (en mijn 300+ collega’s) ooit gebruikt hebben. Enorm scherp en super soepel, echt de paar extra euro waard!

Je connaissais déjà ce produit pour sa qualité. Ma paire de ciseaux a été égaré suite à déménagement; donc je remets le couvert ; bonne préhension et très bonne coupe sur ces ciseaux, Je recommande vivement... Mais, un petit bémol, quant à la tenue dans le temps du revêtement jaune qui se désagrège après un moment. Dommage, cette paire de ciseaux reste tout de même de bonne qualité quant à la coupe.
