Excellent purchase. Best sound quality in lower-cost options
Disclaimer: I Hate reviewing electronic products, because seemingly without fail, the moment I give them a glowing review, they instantaneously combust, break, spit fire & hiss, or some other such despicable outcome. I am hoping with this disclaimer I will appease the electronic gods & thereby prolong the usability of these good earbuds. ππππππ€ Amen.Ok. Whew. Now that that's done, I will tell you these are totally worth a buy. I'd been looking for a set of affordable, good-sounding earbuds WITH AN EARHOOK for honestly like a year, but hadn't found them. This was the 3rd brand I bought. In a year. π€¦ββοΈ(Random sidenote: Why do they even make the other kinds without ear hooks?? Do they think we all just walk around w perfectly vertical posture all day, like someone taking an etiquette course, books carefully balanced upon our teetering heads? Many a friend of mine has wailed over the loss of a perfectly working but non-hook-style earbud while say, doing yoga, running, cooking, breathing etc. when they inevitably would fall out onto the hard floor, to their instant murder. The hookless earbuds quite obviously very easily fall out of your ear. C'mon tech-geek product-makers. Use the neurons God gave ya ... geez.) πBack to the pair here, which Do have the greatly coveted, aforementioned ear hooks ...The sound from these is Pretty Darn Near Perfect. Just enough bass, treble, all that. Do they have the full, delicious boomy sound of a pair of 1990's Bose speakers? No. But they're good. (Insert Obligatory Silent Pause of Weeping here for present crap, shafty quality of today's speaker's sound world-wide.) πͺπOn to happier subjects ...The battery life on this pair is amazeballs. I've only run them down to about 60% life left, & that was after a full day's use PLUS falling asleep w them in my ears for 7 more hours. The case they come with charges up very quickly. They also paired very fast with my phone, & have an excellent range. I've not measured, but I'd wager at least 300 feet. Also, even though I wasn't expecting it at this price point, the microphone on these during calls WORKS GREAT! Yaay! With a Previous Brand I Tried, my bff would literally always happen to call while I was in the shower & with my old pair, when I tried to answer all she could hear was muffled screams which she eventually stopped being frightened by ... but still, horrible microphone on those. With these, I've literally RECEIVED COMPLIMENTS of how great they sound on the other end! And on my end during a call, flawless. The Quirks:They do fit rather Awkwardly. One reviewer happened to mention how she had to "twist/turn them around a lot" to get them to the right fit inside her ear. I had the same experience. If you are female, or not Shrek, you will definitely need to change out the little silicone ear cup fitter things attached on the edge of each earbud to the smallest possible one included in the packet of silicone ear cup thingsthey come with in order to avoid major discomfort. In addition, you will also have to play with them a Lot to then get these earbuds situated in your ear so that they don't fall out or hurt. They aren't small. Not a chance they'll fit a child or adolescent's ear so please don't buy them for your kiddo. π sorry.Another quirk, they're quite externally bulky. Each earbud could hold it's own at a steak-eating contest. They're certainly pretty beefed up. They aren't heavy though, & although it does take some getting used to via pillow dents/laying-down practice, you can eventually fall asleep w them in your ear. But since they're definitely not streamlined to your head, it's a bit harder to fall asleep in these than my other crappier sounding (but smaller) previous set of earbuds (which of course instantly imploded following my Amazon review of those. #%@$@%$!*&!)All said, THESE are certainly worth trying. If you're male or hippopotamus-eared, they'll fit without any of the quirky issues I've explained. Godspeed, all non-ear-size-challenged peers. π₯If you're on the medium-sized-ear scope of things, you will need patience to get them just the way you need them settled. That said, they're still worth the price IMO based on sound quality, battery life, and cost. It's all about the benjamins. (Ok sorry, the 90s reminiscience earlier seems to have temporarily altered my speech.) πHappy listening! πΆππ΅πΌπ§π»πΆ

I love these headphones
These headphones really have exceeded my expectations. What I like about them is that they fit over and in my ear well, have great sound, and the case shows actual battery life. The fit is nice, although not perfect. I have small ears, so I've been looking for headphones that will fit snugly into my ear and not fall out easily. These headphones fit that bill. The over-the-ear part is soft and not too tight (I would actually say very loose), so it doesn't push against the back of my ear and cause any discomfort. For me, it's just enough to do the job it was designed for. Inside the ear, it's not perfect. I do feel a little discomfort after wearing them for a while, but not enough that would make me hate them. I can adjust them from time to time to relieve the little discomfort there is.As for the sound quality, I would say it's really good. It has a good range from the treble to the bass. I adjusted my phone's equalizer to see how the sound quality pairs against the different options and I like what I hear. The bass hits deep enough for headphones, better than others I have used. The treble is good and helps balance out the bass in the music. I was impressed by the sound quality of these headphones. The case is a little bigger than other headphone cases, but not overbearingly big. If you were to carry it in your pocket, it would be noticeable. What I love about the case though, is that it displays an actual number to show the battery life. You don't have to guess based on some lines, you know when it needs to be recharged. When you place the headphones in their "pocket" within the case, they fall right into place. With other headphone cases, you sometimes have to adjust the headphones in position to charge correctly. All in all, I do love these headphones! They have good battery life, in the headphones and the case, so they will last a long time. I have been using mine, on average, a couple of hours a day and I've had them for 4 days now. I would definitely recommend them!

Last brand of earbuds I'll ever buy.....
I wrote this review back in January, but for some reason, along with a number of other reviews, it never posted online. So, I feel this must be written again.I have tried several different brands of earbuds. Some are too big, some are too small, some remain in my ears, some fall out, some have great sound, and some do not. These Stador earbuds are the first earbuds that I've found that have met all of my expectations in each of these categories. They are the right size, not too big, which is usually what I encounter, these embrace my ear like a hug, and I honestly forget they are even there. I can even sleep with them in, and the sound quality is great, in my opinion. The amount of time they hold a charge is what impresses me the most. Now I may wear these for an hour one day and several hours the next. After the first initial charge, I did not need to recharge the case again for over two months. If you wear them longer, yours will not last as long, but I guarantee the charge will surprise you. I thought maybe I received a special pair, it was just a fluke, but my husband had been so impressed with mine that I either had to give him mine or buy him a set. Well, they were just as amazing as mine. I would honestly be shocked if you were able to find another company that sold high-quality earbuds at an affordable price. I just know that I'm done looking. From here on out, I'm sticking with Stador earbuds.
