Hammer goes bang, nails go in. 11/10. Some people might ask "Why would you spend so much on a hammer?". Those people have not used an Estwing. Holding this hammer, you will feel like a Nordic god. You will feel like Thor himself. You will stand on the precipice of glory wielding the power of thunder, crushing mountains before you. I jest. But this really is a good hammer. The quality is impeccable, and it's incredibly durable. This is the vinyl grip variety, which many people (myself included) find more comfortable and durable than the leather grip. This is the sort of hammer that will survive being dropped, thrown, and generally abused in the line of duty. Put it this way- if this hammer was a phone, it would be a Nokia. All other hammers are shattered iPhones in comparison.

These are a great hammer. They have a lovely feel and grip and are very well made. I had one for years and I lost it recently, I was heartbroken. They are a very hard hammer to find in hardware stores, that is one of the great advantages of Amazone, you can find exactly what you are looking for with a few taps of your fingers. The real advantage of this hammer is when you want to remove nails or staples. The straight head means it is easier to get under the head of a nail or staple when you hit another hammer against the head compared with a hammer with a curved head. I had mine for years and it done a lot of work and it was still like new. They are made from very hard hardened steel.

This is a fantastic, high quality hammer that hangs superbly in a holster. Able to drive clout nails in all day long without causing fatigue, this hammer has been constructed using top-end materials with professionals in mind. It's a 12oz hammer that can drive nails like a standard 16 ouncer, looks beautiful and is barely noticeable when holstered. Its not all brute strength though, the head design allows delicate work to be performed with ease. Build quality is exceptional, as always from Estwing. Lean, mean and a joy to work with, this hammer has quickly become a favourite that's always in the bag. Highly recommended.

Good hammer balanced well, allows for a good swim just a bit shorter then I expect but that my fault because I didn’t realize that it was a 20oz. Would recommend to anyone interested. P.s if you are thinking about buying this hammer your better off looking at the west wing website because if your hammer gets damaged you can return it and they’ll replace it for you but that’s entirely up to you, I just didn’t know that before I brought from Amazon

As a joiner for 4 decades now I like good stuff and this little hammer is amazing for tight little jobs not the cheapest but definitely worth the money and it will last a lifetime.
