Henry products just work
I bought this vaccum for a specific reason, i bought it for the wet functionality. We have in the past used Vax which was just awful (appreciate it probably was an older product and that newer models may have provided better results) and we have used Bissell. The Bissell in my opinion was better, but i didnt like the idea of storing some large upright standing vaccum for the odd occasion, and have a traditional dry vaccum. We originally looked at the Bissell SpotClean Pro, but again the downside is that it is specifically a wet vaccum only, and at £149.99 there isnt that much price difference between The Bissell and Henry George but you also gain the dry function. Now i have a bit of a hoover/vaccum obsession. In my laymans thinking way, a hoover should by design be able to hoover anything that you want it to hoover up (within reason, water being the obvious product that cannot be generally hoovered up) and over the past few years of home ownership (6 years) we have had 2 Vax's and 3 Dysons. 2of the Dysons are still operational and in the house, but dont get used. 1 is the cinetic big ball, and its way too cumbersome and heavy, and oddly even with suction reduction, doesnt hoover our carpets, its impossible. And the other is a V6 Animal cordless hoover which after 3 minute of hoovering needs to be emptied, or over a year of use the battery gives up and a replacement needed.I was advised by a friend to buy a Henry because A. They have fantastic suction B. It hoovers up everything from dirt and dog hair, to rubble and plaster, and C. they are cheap and are easy to get spare parts for and will generally last years. I always turned my nose up at the Henry range, thinking a cheap vaccum that has a power cord couldnt be better than a £300 dyson cordless hoover. I took the plunge and bought a Henry Hoover to help with some rubble and plaster dust from a bathroom refit we were doing. I was amazed. They are fantastic. They are by my own admission a no frills plastic tub hoover with a small motor, a smiley face and some attachements with a Hepaflo Bag. But my god is it useful, and for the price, no complaints. To this day i have hoovered anything i wanted, Sawdust, Plaster, Rubble, Dirt, Dust etc and it never gets blocked. When the suction gets a bit weak (your bag is full) change the bag and bang, full power again.By this experience i decided to get another Henry product. This is where the George came in. With the lockdown and issues happening globally around the virus that prevents our normality, we have cancelled our travel plans, and as most people are doing, we decided to focus on making our home look and feel a little less tired. Painting, decorating and making our garden resemble something off of Love Island (the wifes idea). And i decided i wanted something that would clean our cars, and carpets and provide us with good clean results and something i knew would last for further occasions in the future. So we bought the George.I once again was not disappointed. Powerful, more so than our dry hoover, comes with all the necessary well designed and thought out attachements for all applications.I finished my carpet stairs and our sons bedroom with the wet function, and to my surprise was amazed with how much dirt it collects. It simply just works, No frills, No over complications and easy instructions.I havent tried the dry use function of it yet, however if my little 620W Henry impresses me, i cant see how the 1060W George will not do the same.My only critisim, and it is minor. But with a Henry, you can tidy the cable away within the motor housing, it simply hand turn winds back in. But with the George the cable is all loose, and there is a fair amount of it.There is a hook on the back for you to hang a looped cable over, but this to me just seems a little messy and i would have preferred Numatic to have built this with two hooks so you could wrap around both for a tidy way of securing your cable to the machine. As it happens we have used Reusable cable ties to limit how much cable is being used for easier tidying away.Aside from this, i love it, such a great tool for wet and dry use, and in my experience of the wet use, it couldn't be easier and makes carpets feel and smell fresher. As we already have a henry for the house, this will now be a Vaccum for the car and wet use on anything else. There are plenty of useful Youtube videos online showing the applications of this Vaccum, and i honestly thing it was worth the price we paid.9/10 - i would rate higher, but i dont like the cable design.

Very Powerful & Robust Cleaner
What can I say? This is typical of a Henry or George style vacuum cleaner. Good range of included attachments including the wet and dry accessories and even some detergent for wet vacuuming.Plenty spare bags are also included as well as a good set of instructions on how to use everything. This is a typical Henry cylinder type cleaner, so if you’re used to and happy with Henry you should be fine with George. Only downside to George is his cable can’t be rewound back into the lid as per Henry, you have to coil it back up, but there are hooks to loop the cable onto. A minor inconvenience considering the extra wet functionality George has.I wanted George for car interior cleaning specifically and he’s great for this. Very powerful suction and he just works. My Original Henry I use in the house is 19 years old and has only needed one replacement motor in this time, I’m sure George will be just as reliable. These Numatic cleaners are just bullet proof workhorses that get the job done.

Worth it - but with problems in my case
*NOTE:Please do not be put off by my review, the ONLY fault, and this is in my own case, is the rubber hose that supplies water to the sprayer.Take a look at other customers on here and you'll see most are happy. So this obviously isn't a widespread problem.Just my rotten luck as usual!I want to give this a 5 star rating, it genuinely deserves it, except for the rubber water supply hose in my case.REVIEW:It was delivered on the 28th of July, and that evening i used it for a few (maybe four) hours to clean two sections of carpet, one in the hallway (around 14ft long by 5ft wide hallway) and also in a mainroom, but only got part of that done when the rubber hose split at the trigger. However, there are two problems, and both are related to the rubber water supply hose.1) The rubber water hose is too short to connect up if you use all the metal hoover tubes (3 of them). It clearly shows in the instructions, a woman using the washer with all three of the metal tubes. In my case, the hose would not stay attached at the bottom where the sprayer is, as it kept popping off.I almost got hit in the eye with the hose when i was first trying to connect it up as it popped off and lashed toward my face, but it luckily only caught me on the cheekbone!I thought running it through with warm water and giving it a bit of a stretch that it would loosen and be able to meet the connection and stay connected, but this has not happened, despite even trying to stretch the hose in a basin of warm water, then i tried again hot water. No luck, or better put, just my luck.I'm 6ft tall, and without that third section of the metal tube in place, my back took a beating when scrubbing the carpet with the water brush. It worked very well anyway, so I'm happy with the end result, despite the annoying backpain i got from using it to do the cleaning.I get a feeling there's going to be some trick to getting the rubber water hose to connect up while using all three of the metal hoover tubes, even though there shouldn't be some trick to get it to connect. It should just connect up with a bit of slack left over.2) The fixing for the rubber water hose where the trigger is, must have something of an edge, as the rubber water hose has developed a split, and water now squirts from there.I suspect some plumbers tape will be able to fix this, but still, that it happened after doing the hallway carpet and then part of the main room carpet is quite sad. I can't even recall touching this section of the rubber hose, not even when attaching the trigger to the metal tubing. The plumbers tape as a solution would only be a temp fixer, since the hose would simply continue to tear along the split due to the pressure of the water. So it would need replacing eventually.- As to the function and build quality of the machine, it's as you'd expect for the type of machine it is. It just works, there is a kind of magic to it even. I kept expecting it to explode or short the main fuse box, but it just worked. Both Dry and Wet hoover modes are great.TO THE MANUFACTURER:I see a design flaw already with the wet hose. The simple fact the rubber water hose is taped onto the larger intake hose.It would have been easier to simply supply wide and thick elastic bands put over the thicker water intake hose to feed the rubber water supply hose through, which would also allow customers to more easily replace the rubber water hose if/when it gets damaged. As it is now, it looks like I'd have to return that whole part, and as we know, more weight and bulk means larger parcel size and higher postage costs.A larger trigger for us men who have large hands would be nice too.In summery, the machine is great, it works wonders in wet mode, and does the job you've come to expect from this brand when it comes to dry hoovering. I can't fault it there.

Seems to be great.
Bought cheaper saying that vacuum was new but the box was slightly damaged but when I unboxed it, vacuum was deeply scratched.Sucking is great, the best vacuum I ever had for sure. It do great work with the pro kit for 30 pounds.Haven’t checked washing yet. I hope it will not be disappointing.
