So impressed!!
After searching for a beefier kick drum sound (i’ve tried AKG D112, Shure Beta 91a, Beta 52) I bought the Solomon LoFreq. Straight out of the box….wow!! I’m pairing it with the Beta 91a and the combination of attack from the Beta 91a and the low end weight of the LoFreq is fantastic. This probably the best bit of kit I’ve bought in terms of money spent vs satisfaction. The weight that the LoFreq adds is not only massively satisfying, it makes my playing better due to the focus it brings to the kick drum and as a second kick drum mic you can dial in your ideal blend of attack and low end. This is a great product and I highly recommend it.
