This thing is well built, but takes some muscle to install.
This is not for the faint of heart. This mounting arm setup is a beast. It is heavy, well built, and well designed. However, it takes some muscle to adjust some of the tension points. The Good:This thing is well built, and has A LOT of articulation. You can place your monitor just about anywhere if you have enough space to move the arms. And once adjusted, they won't sag or move just because you jostle the desk. The laptop docking station built into the base is a great idea, especially if you're going to use the mounted monitors exclusively for the dock.Once the articulation points have been dialed in, the motion of moving the monitors is smooth andsilent. The Bad:The gas pistons in the upper articulation arms take a fair amount of muscle to turn their adjustment screw. Also, it can be a bit finicky to find just the right tension on that, and the neck articulation point, especially if you're holding a heavier monitor as you do so.The ports on the sides of the docking station can get blocked easily if you don't use the monitors exclusively for the included dock, and instead use them with a switch to allow them to be used for a PC as well. The included USB Type-C to Type-C cable feels cheap, and is a beige color, for a setup that is otherwise entirely black. Also, it is far too short for any laptop other than one with a USB Type-C port on its left side and place directly in front, or for a laptop with a USB Type-c port on its right side placed off to the left. If you want to place your laptop off to the right, you'll need to buy your own cable. If you don't have a wide open space around the arms, don't expect to get full usage of the arms, the more constrained, the less articulation you will have. All in all, this is a good product.

Usual VIVO sturdy, hardy hardware, LOVING the addition of some ports
VIVO are among my best-performing, most durable & dependable monitor mounts, and the addition of the docking/ports affordances is just genius. LOVE this setup.

I Just Like VIVO
I like the way their stuff goes together. Smooth finish and is built tough. Supports as described. And materials withstand the adjustments. Period.

Easy setup
The media could not be loaded. It’s very versatile and it has a long reach. I measured 3.5’ across, 2’ high and 2’ out. It’s very sturdy and easy to put together. It looks like it can hold two 32” TV’s side by side. The pneumatic arms are very strong and should support a 32” TV without a problem. The C clamp is heavy duty and shouldn't have a problem supporting 2 TV’s.

Perfect except trouble getting ports working
The media could not be loaded. ~ ~ NITTY-GRITTY DETAILS ASSEMBLY & SUCHHave a clear spot on your desk and day planner if you order this! the instructions aren't bad and it's not complicated setting-up, only a little tedious (especially if you're low on space). And while much of it can be done with the allen wrenches provided & a philips screwdriver (not provided), I had to use an electric to remove the cable casings. The VESA screws it comes with are lightly magnetized for easier handling.Installing the VESA mounts isn't hard; there's a lever on each arm which allows for easy adding or releasing. Likewise, unmounting from my little nightstand didn't give me any trouble, and didn't leave any marks or damage. It isn't light though so make sure you've got a grip on it while undoing the clamp bolts. WHAT I LOVE!The best thing about this arm (and what caught my eyes!) is cable management. Removeable plastic sleeves on the arms keep cables tucked away! and if you're using USB-C, they can slip through without removing the clear cover (USB-A, HDMI, and mini HDMI are too chunky for that). That it has ports on the base and could clear space on my desk by lifting my monitors is an added bonus. A cleaner desk helps me focus and not go mad. PORTS and LESS HAPPY THINGSBut, that's where I ran into a snag too. Like all good techno-junk, our armstand needs power. Where does it get it? why from a 100W USB-C to DC Adapter of course! ...which isn't provided. Why? it comes with a USB-C/USB-C cable which it mentions isn't adequate in the manual? it would've been very nice having that adapter. That said, the power-on light DID turn on when connected with a pocket computer, so it may draw something from that. It's not always best practice to funnel so much power through your computer's ports, it tends to strain them in the long-term.Which brings me to my next thing. The ports. I couldn't get my attached monitor to work through them with my pocket computer, no matter what I tried. Neither with my laptop. The monitor works fine, because eschewing the base's connections and going straight to my laptop fixed things, but that's not what I'd prefer. And the manual was mum about what (likely simple) mistake I'm making. Surely in-time I'll figure it out, but 'in-time' is less than ideal when it could've been avoided. I'm hoping they don't need power; that wouldn't make much sense to me but it would explain things. It also seems this was designed to maximize use with USB-C ports. It does have USB-A ports, but I suspect you'll get much more out of it if your computer supports USB-C. APPEARANCEForm and function meld together so nicely here. Like my mum ooed and aahhhd over how it looks like my nightstand sprouted robot arms (sound effects provided by me), and my also expressed admiration for how my home-office/bedroom could add 'techie junk lair' to its list of names. The clear casings provide a nice look, somehow it seems better to me than had they been opaque, and the arms swivel smoothly but not with little pushes; it takes a satisfying amount to get them going, which I love because it means when I have them in my Goldilocks Zone they won't fall out of it too easy. The swiveling function goes from 180 to 360 by tightening screws along the arms. Be wary, these are small and fall out easy if you loosen them too much; if you lose them, it DOES NOT come with replacements. If you watched my lil video you'll see my monitor mounts loosely on the back. That's not the arm's doing; the monitor is too thin for the screws to go in all the way.You may also see the arm can be adjusted up and down too, so that it's pointing right at you if you like, but springs up. There's instructions how to adjust it so it doesn't do that as well, it need not be a thing.Likewise, the clamp can be adjusted to fit ledges thicker than my nightstand, and comes with a nice cover (which doubles over as an allen wrench carrier. Okay, a little unusual, but not unappreciated). BUILDMetal and minimal plastic - metal where it counts and plastic where it should be. VIVO did this very well and it'll outlive my workdesk at this rate (wood and getting creaky). It IS heavy. Please make sure your workspace can support the extra weight.A minor gripe about the design is, there's so many cracks and crevices, this will be a pain to clean if it gets dirty or (inevitably) dusty. Like if it had a sleeve or something that would help, but it doesn't. LAST WORDS & SUCHIf you're wondering why this is mounted on an end table in my photos I wanted to see if it could and also because my desk is currently cluttered.I'm happy with how it moves. I love that, even with the ports still mystifying me, it can support two good sized monitors (I only had one available to test with) and that still clears up desk space. And I like how it looks even if future-me bemoans dusting it. Would I recommend it? hmmm maybe.Like it's really a nice arm - just fantastic construction and the cable management is such a nice touch. But be a lil tech savvier than me or you may end up not using the base ports, and that they're powered means another wallwart on your strip too. Not to mention paying for it's idle draw or determining if your wall outlet can support that much power (if it has all sorts of other things already plugged in). I'd rather they be an option than not though.
