Great dawn to dusk light used every day since March 2019 still works just going a bit unstable/fluttery so ordered a new one. Really pleased with the quality and how long it has lasted. Thankyou

I love these bulbs! They are perfect for inside - they go on and off exactly when I expect and are very sensitive to low light. Even the light from a gentle table lamp will turn them off. I keep two going all night for security in standing lamps and don't have to worry about fire issues - because they are cooler than tungsten - nor my bills. I think these will do more for our house security than timers etc, because they are so easy to use and seem - so far at least - really reliable. I am hoping they will last long, but so far, very pleased indeed...Just want to add to my review that I have had these working now for two weeks and two are still going strong - I have not tried the third yet. I did order two more, because when we are away, I would like to replace hall lights with them. I feel very safe with these bulbs on all night - they don't get hot nor do they cost much to run. A really good idea that works as it should

Most of the reviews praised this bulb when used in an outdoor fitting. I was assured that it would be fine for an indoor lamp too so I gave it a go. I bought warm white to replace a CFL and the colour is warm and much nicer than the CFL it replaced. There is no sign of flicker either that I sometimes see with LED bulbs.They come on a little earlier than I'd like but combined with a timeswitch, they'll never be on permanently, just when I want them to _maybe_ come on if it gets gloomy out (and also they'll self regulate during the changing seasons so I don't have to keep adjusting the timeswitch ON time). If it had a small sensitivity adjustment available, this would be a 5 star product.

Easy to fit

Excellent product. In the past I've purchased several types of "Dusk to Dawn" fittings and sockets, none of them worked. I needed an automated light for our conservatory lamp which we like to put on in the evening. We wanted the light to come on at dusk and go off at 10:30pm. To do this I was frequently adjusting an electronic timer, say every month or so as daylight hours increased or decreased. Problem now solved. I've fitted this light into our lamp and set the timer to switch on at 2:00pm not that it will switch on at 2:00pm, that's just the time I've set. Now when it starts to get dark say around 4:30pm the light automatically switches on, no more messing about with the timer settings! For info the bulb is fitted into a table lamp with a large shade which has a white inner surface, I was concerned the reflection from the shade would switch off the bulb as in previous attempts with other fittings, not a problem for this fitting. Excellent product, would highly recommend. I'm a Amazon Prime member so was delivered as normal the next day.
