Good quality, but didn't fit as expected

First I’d like to say that I usually wear medium 32”, but I sized up and was glad I did. These run a size down, so if I got the medium, it would have been too tight. The size large actually fits like a medium would. I plan to wear thermal compression pants underneath, but even with no base layer, the fabric is very soft against your bare leg. I would describe these pants as “comfy pajamas, but made of nylon with plenty of pockets”. They move with you no matter if you are in a squatting position or just walking around, so you never need to adjust the crotch or thigh area like you usually would need to do with a stiffer fabric. I have skinny legs, so if you have thicker, more muscular legs, I would suggest sizing two sizes up and going for the extra large. I would describe the fit as a perfect mix between regular fit and slim fit. Not tight on your legs, but not baggy like you’re wearing a trash bag if you know what I mean. The bottom of the pants is nice too because it’s just tapered enough so it drapes down nicely on the top of your shoes and doesn’t float around when you walk. I purposely stuffed my hands in every single pocket when I tried them on. They were roomy and my hand slid effortlessly into each and every one. The pockets were all a good size too….not too small and not too big. All in all, I am very pleased with the quality of these pants.

I bought these for my teenage son for a cold weather camp out. He said they fit well and kept out the cold.

Phone pocket on right leg is too small for Galaxy A11. Belt loops are in wrong position for leather handgun holster. I bought this brand after buying a previous brand. Identical, just named differently.
