Great product
This has really helped at Bathtimes for a 5 and 2 year old who hate getting their faces wet! Took a little time to get used to getting it to fit as they liked but it stopped water going in their faces and made bathtimes more enjoyable :)

It works
My 4 year old daughter said "It really works"and did not cry for the first time in ages having her hair washed. The band was too small for her head, so I had to hold it in place though!

This is great, or terrible depending on your child
Hmm it's a tricky one this. One the one hand, from a product point of view this works great and does what it claims: it fits snugly over your child's head and the water cascades around the back of their head, away from their eyes. No splashing, no water in eyes. Great. Now the iffy part. Product functionality aside, your experience with this product will largely boil down to how your particular child reacts to the hair washing part of bath time. If, like some parents, you enjoy a hassle-free hair washing experience then it could be argued you don't need this product. You apply the baby shampoo, lather, rinse, high-five, get dried, have a bedtime story and get on with your lives. If, however, you have one of those toddlers, like we do, that loves the bath up until the point where it's hair rinse time then you've got a problem. See, trying to rinse the soap from the head of some toddlers is a very similar experience to waterboarding someone, despite the fact that you're trying with every fibre of your being to NOT get the water in their face. Trying to explain that 'if you just keep your head up it won't go in your eyes' is something of a pointless task with a 2 year old though.I suspect, that's why someone invented this product, but if the toddler isn't keen on having a hand / flannel kicking about their face, then they're certainly not interested in having a slab of rubber wedged on their eyeline. So, if you've got an older, more understanding child then buy this, it's ACE!If you're got a child that's less relaxed about rinse time then probably just avoid this and try something else.

Too hard, I don’t recommend
This item would have been great if it was softer. I bought this for my daughter when she was 16 months old and we both hate it. It is so hard that by the time I’m done washing her hair, the upper area of her ears would turn red. Even with her brown skin tone the marks it leaves are very visible and I don’t strap it hard although I’m also conscious of not having it too loose to let water run on her face.I had order another cap and it’s so soft and flexible. It’s bad I wasted my money on this and it totally should not be for babies toddler, even as an adult, I wouldn’t use it.

Clever concept let down by cheap materials
The concept of this device is pure, effing, genius. Kids who hate having water poured on their heads to wash their hair need not worry any more because this device will ensure no water gets in the eyes.HOWEVER, This particularly cheaply made piece of tat bleeds colour like Blane in Predator when he gets shot through the chest with the plasma weapon. You find the pink rim in particular leaves it’s mess on anything it sits on. Like the Klingon blood from Star Trek 6 (hint: it’s bright pink!) From bath, to sponge… it get everywhere.I mean, seriously, 10/10 on the idea, but bugger me, how can you make it so cheap?! It lets it down so, so badly.

Works
It works. A bit small. My child doesn’t love it but better than soapy water in her eyes!
