I got these for my blue-collar S/O and was looking for something he could wear with work boots while still being comfortable. These turned out perfect..great comfort, excellent quality, and they do a fantastic job wicking moisture. Definitely a winner for long days on the job.

I've been buying these socks for over ten years, but at stores. This is the first time I bought them online through Amazon. (Incidentally, I bought the size 12-14 version.) The one major difference I noticed right away is how the stitching and material of the lower portion of the sock (ankle to toe) is decidedly different than the upper portion (calf). The lower portion is as I expected it- roomy, supportive, with the right amount of material, not too thick or thin. They fit my (wide) feet nicely. The upper portion, on the other hand, is now decidedly thinner, which doesn't bother me, but what is cause for concern is how tight the elastic is. It is a challenge getting this portion past my foot and up my calf. Because it is so tight, it grips my lower leg to the point that it is consistently squeezing it, not just holding against it. I'm hoping that, in time, the elastic material will weaken a bit to make the socks, overall, as comfortable as they've always been in the past.

These socks are awesome and they might be the best socks I have ever bought actually because they're comfortable and fit good and feel sturdy and I think they will last a while so I think they're a good buy for the money for sure!

Could almost work, except for too tight band across the top of the tube. The foot fit right, nice and cushioned, very comfortable! But the tube part is too tight, and would cause the red itchy lines around your ankle kind of cutting off circulation a bit. They are just a little too tight, not a lot. I thought, it might stretch out with wearing a bit, and was almost going to keep them, but - there is a tight stiff band around the top of the tube, which makes it worse! As it is tighter than the elastic in the tube part of the sock, and kind of digs into the flesh around the ankle, feeling a bit too stiff and tight. I am sure it would leave a red mark around the ankle. So, while the foot part was fine, very cushioned and comfortable, the tube part nees to be looser, and lose the tight band at the top to get 5 stars from this customer, sadly. Returned and am still searching for socks that are not too tight around the ankles. Oddly, I am a female with skinny ankles, so do not know why this was a problem.
